god Dragon Maid is so cute, it's just such a nice peaceful, funny series, the characters are so strong, I get how the manga's able to support 2 ongoing spin off series with them.

I'm not saying that it will apply to THIS anime, but there are many slice-of-life animes that turn dark at the end. Again, not saying that this one does, but I just don't want you to think that the genre is safe from that.
