Did Vash's influence really contribute to Wolfwood's death?! Damn, the intensity of these moments is insane!

I'm assuming you caught it but Legato's left arm is vash's old arm that was "forcibly removed" at some point

Just from the intro. While i cannot remember how good the code geass sub is, the dub is excellent in general.

V_VMat

I think people will be disappointed if you go with sub, since Code Geass' main character in dub is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch who is both Ichigo and Vash!

V_VMat

Personally I don't care either way. I haven't seen Code Geass and watched both Bleach and Trigun sub.

And like that, knives won. Vash did save the girls, but knives got what he wanted.

Kakashi

I'd personally prefer dub for code geass, but I've never seen the sub for it. So if end up watching it in sub I've got that to look forward to.

The dub for code geauss is considered great by many and the Main character is voiced by Jhonny young Bosch who did Vash one of his early roles and who did Ichigo a role in the middle of time. So you could see how he improved from those roles since Code Gueass would be the latest of the 3. I personally would be dissapointed if you did sub over the dub. Hopefully you reconsider. I belive funimation and or hulu has the dub.

SpazBoysComedy

I'm still researching it... I belong to all the services. I have both the sub and dub destinations already lined up, depending on what I decide.

The Tension was so thick you could cut up knives... The Protagonist lost, the tension was practically the inverse of a normal spaghetti western, and we have two episodes left. The trigger was pulled and Vash was conscious of the person being at the other side of it, unlike the two city explosions. Vash can't escape into the past this time, he needs to finally confront that force which wishes to kill all humans, not Bender Bending Rodriguez, but Knives, dickhole supreme. I probably won't stick around for Code Geass, I was never able to get into the show. I didn't care for it's art direction and other vehicles for the plot. I'll come back to see what is after that.

Maybe you should do a poll for dub vs sub code geass

Both are good, but it's definitely one of those cases where the dub is just a little better (mostly because of Lelouch).

Dandy

I think a lot of people will say that the dub for Code Geass is classic and that it was one of the shows that really got them into anime, the same is true in my opinion. However, after having had seen the entire show in dub, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of voice acting in the original Subbed version. Something about the lead VA specifically really in his delivery and tone worked so incredibly well for the main character that I wouldn't mind watching it in either version. And that's it, with Midvalley, Chapel and Legato, the Gung-Ho Guns are Gung-Ho Gone! 2 more episodes but we're stuck waiting for MONDAY until the end!!!

PKKite

That has ended up the same way every time everyone who hasent seen the show or always watches sub votes sub even good dubs dont win polls like that due to a sub bias online. Polls don't ever work for that

PKKite

So now we confirm Wolfwoods teacher didnt want to kill wolfwood and his body was taken over by legato to kill him. So he tried to get revenge on Legato for making him kill. We also now know Legatos left arm is infact Vashes arm he lost.

ThoughtsofGlought

Johnny Yong Bosch(Voice of Ichigo from bleach and Vash from trigun) voices the main character in the code Geass dub.

Legato was such a great villain, effectively haunting Vash no matter where he went all in the effort to make him break his one rule. And in the end he succeeded. He completely forced Vash to kill him. And now he gets to haunt Vash in a different way for the rest of Vash's life. It was always interesting that Legato and the Horn Freak (he blew himself up for the record) agreed with Knives' perception of humanity being worthless and were always expecting to be killed (in fact that was their entire purpose, to prod Vash into killing them).

Sean Nelson

if you look closely knives shot it off back when the first city got destroyed.

I've seen both the dub and the sub for code geass several times. while the great debate aside though I think the sub is better you should definitely watch the dub. the show has alot of things that arent explained till later. a large cast and political intrigue. it will probably be easier to follow along with the dub. seeing JYB in a role later in his career is a nice bonus and MOST characters voices are good. a couple end up a little campy and one is mostly universally disliked (the emotional bits still hit with that one it just grates on the ears in the norm)

legato Bluesummers lol you see why I said he was an interesting nihilist villain before now.
