I don't think I would call most of the soul reapers villains per se (though some are real dickwads), more just antagonists in the way of our heroes goal.

Soul Reapers arnt evil just because the protagonist doent agree with them. Thats like calling the police evil in death note because Light is being stopped by them.

One thing I really love about soul reapers is how cool and varied their released weapons are. Even something as simple as changing a sword to a three section pole changes up the battle

I know you don't usually, but you should watch the outro each time until this current outro is done. It changes with each episode, and shows you a bit more about characteristics of the Soul Reaper Squads, that they don't go into in the show (but did in the manga). I think it's necessary to full enjoy this series. There are no spoilers in them.

That's pretty much all the characters in Bleach, minus a few exceptions. I can't really hate any of them, because they all feel so human.
