Zangetsu must consul the elder gods cause he has raiden's voice.

Ichigo with the mask after coming out of the hole is really badass, it's one of my favourite scenes in early Bleach, also Zangetsu's name means Slaying Moon in English.

I distinctly remember Zangetsu's name being scrambled so it couldn't be understood. Was that too much work to replicate by the dub department? The name was spoken first in the next episode by Ichigo, at least in a way that was comprehensible. I always thought that was kinda cool :(

TBH i like the idea that he literally can't hear it said due to no connection like a certain character we meet later who can hear the sword speak at all.
