Looks like it's Moria's first time inside someone. Let's see how he does against the straw hats

Sunlight doesnt do anything to zombies, only shadowless people. As far as that goes its not a problem for Morias bunch. Its a bit annoying their padding for time here, there was absolutely no reason to show Luffy defeating Lucci. They didnt need to show Ace vs Blackbeard either since no real connection was established between that and this... Damn flashbacks... Just to let you know the manga has no where near as many flashbacks. If its a reference to something someone said or did its probably a square or 2 at most and those are rare, often showing new events. So this obsession with flashbacks is the animes deal.

See? I like Moria as a villain. He's got cool powers, a unique design, and while his ideology may be twisted, it's also more relatable than most villains. He lost everything and was humiliated, so he became selfish, cynical, and lazy. But most of all, he's got pride and a fragile ego. He gets pissed off that the government would disrespect him so much as to send help.

Moria told Kuma to sit back and chill so as of right now Kuma is only watching.

This was a great episode for some characterization for him. I forgot some of this interaction with kuma and stuff but it really does help flesh out his character. I think he suffers from some of the silliness of the arc as a whole but he is underrated and I’m glad he is....still around in the story now (that’s as least spoilery as I can say it)

Exactly, but I think the reason why they were freaking out is that if the people on the island who share shadows with the zombies get exposes to the sun and die, the zombies "die" too.

SPOILERS below: Which honestly, is a choice that ultimately saved the Strawhats. If Moria had accepted his help, they not only would have likely perished there, but would have never received important assistance that they get at two different times later on. Moria's prideful decision played a crucial role in the Strawhats' journey.
