I'm still trying to figure out how much of Vash is silliness and how much is badassery... I'm thinking he's a great blend of both!

Yep, ripping the band-aid off after 5 long episodes of keeping you in the dark, but the guy we all keep calling Vash the Stampede turns out to be...... VASH THE STAMPEDE! Another little thing with the names of towns and cities in this show, all of the "major" cities and towns are named after Months (July, August, December) and the smaller towns are named in a way to make a pun. For example, the people in INEPRIL city sure seemed to be IN PERIL.

This is what makes this show incredible to me. Vash is a incredibly complex character whose personality is quirky/silly and you would never in a million years expect him to be this legendary gunman. It’s also crazy that he won’t kill no matter what even though he lives in a wild west planet where people get killed all the time. The series starts slowly here but Vash gets fleshed out to why he is who he is. I’m excited for you to see how Vash progresses and encounter unique situations later down the line.

If memory serves me right, Milly is actually packing more than Meryl. Cat spotted 3 times in this episode.

And here we finally meet Anime Curtis: a big dumb bald guy who's clearly had a head injury, and a loud-mouthed old man (though admittedly I think they may have misunderstood us when we said "loves fisting women"...)

Interesting comment from the Nebraska old guy. He claimed that Vash reduced a city of millions to ash. Also, to be fair to Meryl Stryfe, Vash doesn't exactly live up to the rumors about him at first, second, or third meeting.
