Aww, Shinobu was only checking his jaw. I thought for a moment she was gonna stick her tongue in there. That must have been a great dissappointment for Tanjiro :( I think Shinobu is only 18 btw. That is quite young for her rank. Which means she's both legal for us and age appropriate for Tanjirou.

Somehow those three hitting Tanjiro with carpet beaters makes them even more adorable. Yeah, Kanao (the girl who flipped the coin) has QUITE the tragic backstory. Can't even imagine facing such horrible conditions that it broke my ability to feel or function as a defense mechanism. The entire Butterfly Household is just the best.

yeah the second I saw Inosuke pick up the stone I had a good idea what he was going to do, he likes Serrated blades, who can blame him lol, he's a wild beast, no clean cuts just tear and rip into demons with those saw like dual blades.

When you think about the social norms in the time period the show is set it's quite realistic for people to have that outlook though. You can't really expect 21st century progressive worldviews in Taisho era Japan

You want to know what makes Kanao’s back story even more fucked up is she had a couple of brothers who got in trouble and beaten, but were hit in bad places and died during the night before she was sold which is what the 2 bodies lying on the ground covered in flies probably represents in her backstory.
