Yeah Hollows just like demons in demon slayer were originally just normal humans, some good some bad. Either way they need to be exercised so they can't kill anyone else

I know we said no filler for Bleach and I’m all for that because Bleach filler is the absolute worse....but however Curtis you need to watch Episode 228. That’s the Bleach Boobie Beach Spectacle Episode! Curtis you will see all the Bleach girls wearing tight ass bikinis and they have thongs that go far up their asses and their boobies are basically out in the open because of how skinny there bras are. You’ll see all the Bleach girls including Rukia, Orohime, the other Bleach girls and of course your new Bleach Waifu Rangiku! It’s the perfect episode to get a hard one!

I'm sure you got this by now, but the Hollows are basically possessed. Like, a person might think something selfish, and then tell themselves "That's obviously stupid", and move on. Well, as a Hollow, those selfish thoughts become undeniable truths to you.

We might be able to do a reaction to it, but I really don't want to open up the filler can of worms again. At some point, I could watch that as a stand-alone reaction, but I'm not going to watch it in its place within the series, as that will undoubtedly lead to debates about what other filler episodes can't be missed.

Orihime and Sora's past was toned down in the anime. In the manga, their father was an alcoholic and their mother was a prostitute who would beat their children whenever they cried, and Sora ran away with Orihime to protect her from them. In the anime, their parents simply abandoned them when Sora was 18. Straight from the wiki. Not really important for the story, but still.

The theme about big brothers and protecting is actually really important in this show and a key part of Ichigo’s character. I’m excited for some stuff coming up that really digs into it.

It is worth mentioning that looking at the design of the hollow tells you a lot about it. Some stuff i will leave to you or just leave till later. But one thing they really show off in this episode is how the mask seems to hold back the emotions and personality of the original person. Every time the mask is damaged that allows more of the person to get loose, but it is also worth mentioning that every time Keanu shows strong important feelings from his life, as in most of his actual interactions with his sister, you can suddenly see his eyes through the mask, while the mask has entirely black or red eyes. So the emotions can also break the mask like what happened in the end.

Just a reminder that Hollows have 2 sets of teeth. The teeth you see are just part of their mask, the second set that you only see when they're screaming are their actual teeth. Gonna be honest, it's been so long since I've watched this show (watched it when it originally came out on Toonami, years and years ago) that it's almost like I'm watching it for the first time, too. Hell, other than Ichigo, Rukia, and a certain pale character much later (only remember him because I loved his design and fight), I don't even remember character names. This is gonna be a fun series!
