just to clarify why brook never stood a chance, but why zoro does: ryuuma moves with brooks shadow and is therefore using brooks finesse based fighting style but when he was alive ryuuma was using a strength based style, so while brook can match ryuuma in skill, ryuumas body is way stronger by default. when fighting other opponents however brooks fighting style doesn't fully capitalize on his impressive strength so it is important to note that ryuuma was even more powerful when he was alive.

I like how there's an enemy in this arc that uses ghosts called "Hollows" and you just started Bleach that also has enemies called "Hollows"

Did you notice that Zoro and the samurai Ryuuma look the same, they have the same style and color of hair also their faces are the same shape
