To follow up on what I was saying last video, yeah the Monkey family is fucking insane lol. How the hell does a Marine Vice Admrial have a Revolutionary as a son and a Pirate for a grandson. What went wrong (or right lol)

We told you, the Monkey family is...quite something. Luffy is a rookie pirate, aiming to become Pirate King. His brother is the Commander of the 2nd Division of the Whitebeard pirates, one of 4 of the most powerful pirate groups in the world whose captain could match up to Gol D Roger. His father is the elusive leader of the Revolutionary army, with apparently the ability to control the wind itself. His grandfather is a Vice Admiral of the Navy, and a man who cornered Roger many times. One of the biggest questions for fans so far is who is his mother, as i believe that has not been revealed to date. Personally placing my bets on her being a queen of some country, it'd fit with the craziness of the family tree xD

So to put these things into power scaling terms. The 4 Emperors/The Yonko are the most powerful pirates in the world. Essentially they are the Hashirama & Madara’s of this show. As of now you met 2 of the 4 Yonko, Shanks & Whitebeard. We can consider these 2 Yonkos to be Hashiramas. As far as the Marines the only people who can stand toe to toe with these Yonkos are Garp & Sengoku (The Navy guy who owns the little sheep) you’ve seen him before. All these guys are essentially the big dogs in the One Piece world.

Oda doesn't waste anything in this series. Casual comedy lines from the first few episodes, or seemingly insignificant episodes, could play a huge role later on. You never know with this series.

just to clarify someone elses comment, the "emperor status" means Influence, control of the line. The sizes of crews, power of the emperor themselves, e.t.c all vary wildly.

The "Ha" face will always be my favorite running gag in this show. And needless to say, they just get better and better as the show gets more and more detailed. Though some shots hold a special place in my heart (that one where Enel finds out his lightning doesn't work on Luffy being a personal favorite).

The power of the emperor themselves definitely vary (I mean, they kinda have to...) but they're definitely all ludicrously powerful on their own, it's probably not a giant gap from weakest to strongest.
