Not for the first time, I REALLY wondered why the Titans look sooo much like humans. Especially with Conny/Connie and the weak Titan sitting through his house sharing the same golden kind of eyes. And as you say, the whole moment is freaky af.

Dagnabbit. Did no one tell him to watch the OVAs? I dont know whens good but the OVAs contain canon information youre supposed to have at this point. For example, Hange reacted to the name Ymir here. We know why because of an OVA that takes place before this (and yes, it is canon)

There was too much debate about watching them or not so he just skipped them. I don’t think he is missing anything by not watching them. They definitely add to the experience but it’s just extra information not necessary information.

Looking back through it so many things are being hinted at heavily, honestly the series sets up some of the bigger twists and reveals quite obviously
