Okay, this version of Granny is one of the most unexpectedly awesome things so far, just below Luffy's gears!

if anyone heard a large knock around the 18:19, i think curtis got a little excited lol

I think Spandam just gets off on attacking anyone weaker or vulnerable, since he himself is both weak as shit and likes having power over people. It probably has nothing to do with Robin being a woman, she just happens to be the target. On that note, I think the world of One Piece is pretty nonsexist, which may have something to do with women being able to match and surpass men in strength pretty easily, should they have the aptitude and will. One of the most powerful people in the world is female, after all.

Well granny being a mermaid is the biggest twist in one piece, it’s all downhill from here.

Tom san was a fishman and granny is a mermaid, you know they where gettin freaky back in the days.

I just want to bring up a point that I didn’t include about yesterday’s episode with Rob Lucci. I really appreciate how One Piece is cut and clear when it comes to making their villains. What I mean by this is how when we first meet Rob Lucci, he was made as a merciless prick. And throughout the backstory Oda (the author) kept consistent with that theme of his character being a merciless prick. He didn’t choose the route to where is backstory would explain a reason behind Lucci’s madness or try to have the audience sympathize with him...nope he just kept consistent with Lucci being the way he was. And I really appreciate that One Piece does that for their villains, Oda doesn’t give redeeming characteristics to the villains he wants you to root against, not many anime go this route with their villains. He just makes it clear that “this guy is a bad guy and there’s no deeper meaning to them being a villain” simple as that.

aka spoilers, dude you gotta stop with this garbage, thanks for spoiling the backstory of every antagonist. Because youre right, theyre backstories are not interesting after seeing what their character is like for the first time. Way to go

Honestly Curtis just stop watching the stimulation from this show is penultimate to this scene

You should lookup what a dugong is to get the joke of what they calling granny when they realized it was her. ; )

15:16 Why Lucci needed to jump back that much? To get movement for his next attack? That's the only reasonable explanation I can think of....

Keep in mind, there are only 10 vice admirals in a buster call, never actual admirals. There are only 3 admirals in the entire navy, but there are countless vice admirals.

Miasimon

I think granny mermaid just gave Sanji whatever you call a reverse boner. It must have been like groundhog day. The groundhog came out, saw a horrifying image and now we have a few more weeks of winter.

SpazBoysComedy

After watching the next episode earlier today, I did... That's an attractive creature! :-D

IzzO

Its actually 5 vice admirals and 10 battleships. I think theres like only 10 or 15 va`s. you might be thinkin of rear adrmirals

There are several different races in one piece. (giants, skypieans, fishmen, mermen/mermainds, etc.). Since granny was clearly married to tom, and tom was a fishman, it wouldn't be far fetched that granny was also some kind of fish person.
