Not sure if you caught it, but the game Karma was shown playing was a One Piece game, along with the AOT reference you caught, that brings us 3/3 for what we're watching here at the moment, which is a great coincidence!

The reaper has been mentioned in season 1. It was in the episode where our friendly assasssin came in and taught the kids a bit, taking special interest in Nagisa.

I love how they introduce The Reaper. He just appears and you see Lovro, a seasoned veteran assassin, actually become terrified the second he realizes who is standing before him.

You've heard of the Reaper before. In Season 1, Lovro (our dearly departed master assassin) mentioned he was unquestionably the greatest assassin in the world.
