There was always something great to me about this episode first of all guts more or less ambushes his own ambush 😂 that and I loved the line of panic "every time he swings his sword , someone dies" such a demoralising thing to hear when the reality of the statement is 100% true

Thats why I love this show, it keeps you in suspense because of how dark it can be!

I will just mention on the whole pervo thing. That pretty much fits with the real world in and out of war. I will give an out of war example, during the "Wild West", some of the richest people in towns were the brothel madams, because many people spent everything they didnt need to survive in the brothel. I chose that over other examples, as those other examples are often dark, some darker than berserk.

Yeah based on what were learning about people with power even in mordern times, im sure it was even worse back then when you could get away with it much easier.

I felt so panicked watching this episode for the first time, you really feel a sense of danger for the characters fighting alone in a forest

First rule of Berserk, if you are a woman and you are involved with the story in anyway. Someone is probably going to try and rape you. Whether or not they'll succeed depends on where Miura's trying to take the story. Sorry for the late comment, I was halfway through this reaction when my internet crapped out. I had to go to work and have only now finished the episode.
