Lucci is quickly rising up my list of most hated in OP. He's not up to Arlong yet, but I think the whole fact that he's a government agent increases my annoyance.  :-)

Remember I told you that there’s someone in this arc you’re going to hate on Kabuto/Arlong level? Well Lucci isn’t that person, you’ll meet that person soon tho. Hehehe

Kamui

YAAAY UPLOAD. I have vacation from work right now and can't wait to watch your reactions earlier

Brother E

Lucci The Leopard, more like fucking Tony The Tiger. CP9 gained all their strength by eating Frosted Flakes, Kellogg adding all those steroids in their tasty cereal🥣

Arlong is going to lose his spot in this arc very soon lol

Ikr I was just messaging him about this person oh they gonna make the top list

having a devil fruit and these 6 powers are too different/seperate things... they have nothing to do with each other...sry my english aint that good but hope if you didnt know all ready that i could help ya

SpazBoysComedy

I have to doubt that, though, because being a fat boy major connoisseur of sugary breakfast cereals, the 'roids should have made me much more badass than this by now! :-D

The 6 powers are purely gained through training. The devil fruit is separate from that, although it helps boost Lucci’s strength and speed even further, especially since Lucci has a Zoan type devil fruit which are known to boost physical attributes and even let you heal from wounds faster

We see how strong Lucci is as just a human before transforming into his leopard form where he becomes a lot stronger and faster. The 6 powers are gained through training that is why everyone in cp9 can use it and we also see Blueno with the door door devil fruit earlier so his devil fruit doesn't augment his fighting power in the same way Lucci devil fruit make him more powerful when transformed.

also,, because, his zoan fruit is based on a carnivorous animal, he is also more aggressive and violent than he would otherwise be,

I dont know if you caught it, I dont think I noticed it before. But wasnt it heavily implied Lucci threw Nami out of the building knocking her out? In case you didnt hate him enough~~

V_VMat

CP9 obviously trained 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and 10 km run everyday to reach the point where they are 😂 Lucci is actually my favorite of the CP9, followed by Kaku and Kalifa... They are just following orders and their 5 year undercover mission was cut short to get the results in any way necessary. That's why the assassination "for greater good"

꧁Coltonius Maximus꧂

So i literally posted the Saitama workout joke, refreshed, and suddenly there was another comment before mine with litteraly the exact same joke. Wtf 🤣

Nami- It is heavily implied that Lucci threw me. Joey Wheeler- Boy do I know that feeling...Brooklyn Rage!

I see comments reiterating what is said in the show like how they got their powers by training... But like you I'm like, okay and how does training = that. Many people train all the time. Take Zoro for example.. and he can't do that. Since it's based on martial arts my mind treats it like the movie matrix (the first one) where they train their bodies and their minds. Like being able to punch through concrete like it's nothing. Running on the walls. And even in the real world there are some martial artist that train to the point where they can take repeated kick to the balls when they prepare themselves for it. This, to me, is like iron body. Just exaggerated for storytelling purposes. Paper art is like dodging bullets from the matrix. So on and so forth for the others. So when they say they trained that's how I picture. They're training specifically for these specific techniques. Training all day every day isn't going to result in the 6 powers unless you are training specifically to obtain these feats.

It doesn't make sense to me that they trained and got this. If that's the case, Zoro should have a steel body. Martial arts doesn't give you that kind of durability. Also, isn't it a bit inconsistent how Zoro cut steel in Alabasta, but can't even make a dent in Lucci? Still, great episode.

The six powers are based on anime logic of an insane exaggeration of physics and human ability.... You can tighten the muscles in your stomach to take a good punch when you're prepared right? That's Iron Body just to a serious extreme. Shave is something seen in a lot of anime like Bleach and Roruni Kenshin where the idea is that the more and faster you can push off the ground, the faster you go. Luffy did the paper thing before against Enel when he dodged all the attacks without thinking, it's the idea that there's some force of wind in front of the hit and your body moves in response to it. As for Zoro, he has to be ready to cut steel, and use a special technique, not a normal slice

Training doesn't really work like that. Just because I might train in Karate won't make me a olympic swimmer. You have to specificlly train in the field you're after
