It's going to be really interesting to see Griffith's thought processes, as far as the rescue of Casca and Guts!

Gotta disagree with you on the "16 years is a child" comment. I know you base this on your (American) values, but even nowadays, in my country (Germany), at 16 you would: 1. be allowed to drink alcohol in public 2. most likely have many years of sexual experience 3. be physically grown (I was at 15, I know many who were at 11/12, mostly girls, but not all of them) I know I may get a lot of hate from people who don't agree with these things being completely normal, but societal values and cultural standards vary vastly between even different regions of a single country or just based on your own values. So 16, while still very much in a state of mental growth (proven to be until the mid-twenties), is not "a child", especially not in a medieval society. I also know you consider yourself to be pretty old, which is why you say this, but again, I don't see you that way. Maybe once you're in your 70s/80s and/or physically/mentally decrepit, but that doesn't apply to you, despite your brain damage ;)

I love angry guts just sitting there defending her. That is a great motif.

I get the societal differences, but that's not really what I was referencing. For me, directly from a personal standpoint, 16-year-olds are still children. Emotionally, psychologically, and for the most part, physically. I get that not everybody sees it that way, but they are clearly kids to me. :-)

This campaign they're currently on is supposed to end the war. Think of it as something along the lines of the 100 Days Offensive during World War 1. There are many more battles after the one they just fought. From here they'll have to fight many battles against various enemy delaying forces. In order to reach their final objective. Any delay would give the enemy an opportunity to strengthen their defences and block their advance. That's why the commanders are reluctant to send out a search party.

The upcoming episodes are amazing, it really changes a lot from here on out

"15 is still a child. ... Go for the older, more experienced Casca." *clears throat awkwardly* Casca was around 15 when we met her, and you were making cracks about her body and how you'd like to see her naked. Not saying you're wrong to think that about her—regardless of her age, she WAS hot in that scene—just wanted to point out how far down your throat you just shoved your foot. XD

Okay, unless the story specifically designates an age to me, how would I have that distaste generated for me? Had they mentioned her age, my reaction would have been different... Personally, I still have no taste of shoe in my mouth at all. 😂

I don’t get why everyone’s so fixated on age here. No one is talking about banging a 15 year old. I’ve seen anime where a little girl is putting the moves on some guy and she claims she’s 36 or something and it’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen but casca is an objectively attractive woman drawn to look full grown. These people aren’t real. Also to the guy who said 16 year olds likely have years of sexual experience and are fully developed, grow up a little more and look back. You aren’t

Casca doesn't look 15, nor does she act like a 15 years old, nor did the anime show us that she's 15, so it's kinda weird to think that "OH, she might be underage, or even 15 for that matter" come on now.
