It certainly seems that Misa really pulled it off! Maybe there's a downside to this I'm missing, but it looks like she nailed it!

You said yourself earlier Misa isint dumb and she really isint. She might be abit air headed but even light was surprised by how much she can plan. Remember she is being compared to L who is a super genious and Light who is gifted for his age. But we all know Matsuda is the true hero of the story.

That's a lot of what makes Misa interesting to me. She is most definitely flighty and air-headed, yet maintains a definite air of pretty ingenious strategy-building.

I wonder how much of the recording she showed L, remember that hes the second investigator that told them that she might be the second kira, so hes probably wondering how he convinced him to tell her. that's all i got

Higuchi clearly doesn't think much of how people perceive him. When he picked up Misa, to the casual observer it would've looked like some guy picking up a hooker in a nurse uniform.
