As I'm going through the process of trying to bring back our vids, there are some really disturbing things I'm discovering... The Japanese companies have us directly in their sights! We've known this for awhile, as we were getting strikes/blocks long before it caught on to the entire YouTube anime community.

Also, it seems that Patreon doesn't do a very good job of allowing embedding for anything other than YouTube and Vimeo.

I have the links to download my vids from Vimeo, but they have no other options than for me than to download the full versions, which are about 600 MB each! I only have a week to get all 1200 back... The math don't come out too good!  :-(

IF - and for now, this is only an IF - I am forced to go to face cam and timer for anime reactions, I think the best thing would be to do those at YouTube. I would live stream them, then leave the streams up for everyone to watch them.

However, I would be devastated to lose the GOOSH community! I know what you cynics are saying: "Of course you would, that's a lot of money!" :-D

That's not untrue, but the fortunate thing for me is, I have a lot of options in that area, simply because touring with my hypnosis show alone is a huge source of revenue if I devote my time to it.

So, what I would like to know from this poll is, how many of you would be interested in maintaining the GOOSH as our community-oriented hangout if I took it in the following direction:

The $5 level would get you ALL our content. The $10 would still be available, as a lot of you have expressed that you sign up there/stay there just because you like supporting the GOOSH.

The content would be all community-centric. First, all GOOSHERS would have access to my Minecraft server. I LOVE Minecraft and enjoy hanging out there immensely!

There would be exclusive to The GOOSH reaction videos. We would do polls to find YouTube vids that everyone really wants me to watch, and those vids would be unlisted at YouTube and provided here just for you guys.

Golden would be back!... There would be a lot of vids of my life, including the family and the dogs, as well as sketch comedy and the type of random crap I have always found fun!

Most of all, the content would be tailored to ANYTHING you guys want! There would be all sorts of different stuff posted, just because you guys goad/coerce me into it!

This is just some ideas off the top of my head. I haven't yet thrown in the towel on getting our anime reaction vids back here, but I want to know how many of you would be interested in staying around if the anime reactions had to be face cam and timer at YouTube, and the GOOSH would be all about having fun as a community.

PLEASE don't be shy about being honest with your response here. If this wouldn't be for you, I completely understand and have NO hard feelings at all! I just want to get an idea of what you guys think, IF this should become our best option!

Thanks, GOOSHERS!  :-D

I’ll always be a goosher! I’ll support any decision you make Curtis!

I'm with you dude... But I can't lie it would really suck to lose the reaction videos. They're a huge fuckin part of my week to week life 😭😭 I dunno what I'll do with my time if they go away

Willie Playz

I'm sorry this had to happen Curtis

Colin

Could you try google drive or mega? You’d just have to put them in the links of the description. This is a real shitty situation and it’d suck if anime reactions on the goosh were over.

Anonymous

Question, if we do face cam and timer, would it be the full reaction of the episode, and also would you react to the opening (facecam with timer) of Jojo because JOJO!!! I’m okay with it.

Jacob Harmon

I mean, I wouldn’t mind if we started doing other stuff here. You said in there that you could just watch random YouTube videos; I’ve had a few really cool things I’ve come across and idly thought “I wonder what Curtis would have thought of that.” I never considered that I’d actually get a chance to show you. That’d be pretty sick.

Sean Nelson

Damn shame. I can do timers if it's on YouTube as picture in picture works with YouTube and vrv pretty easy.

Anonymous

Anime reactions are the main reason I became a goosher. That being said however no matter your choice going forward I'll stick around

Anonymous

I’d most likely stay on as a goosher because I’m in a position where I can afford 5 dollars a month(and I still want to support) but honestly it’s your daily anime reactions that keep me logging into Patreon every day. Maybe if there’s more polls and discussion and stuff though then that can be what I look forward to instead. It sucks. I’m still going to support you but they’re really screwing you here

I'm all for the timer based reactions on YouTube. I would prefer them as individual videos rather than as part of streams, though, for the anime stuff at least. Even if you leave the streams up, it's easier to find reactions when they're cut up into individual episodes. Plus chat interaction changes the pacing of the reactions and I'd rather just sit down to a video of just your own thoughts and the episode. Just my opinion. Perhaps members of the Goosh could have early access (several weeks) to the timer reactions?

If I'm being deadhonest I can't see myself supporting monetarily when I'm also supports 4+ other patrons for content. I would suggest looking into using Google drive files for us to download reactions

I would hate to loose anime reactions. If they were to be discontinued I like to think I would stick around for a while to check out the new content. But ultimately if I’m not entertained by the content I would have to say my goodbyes. Sorry this happened to you.

SpazBoysComedy

I didn't explain that well. The timer reactions would be live streams, but that would be the ONLY part of that particular live stream. That way, it ends up as a standalone video... The early access thing is certainly something to consider. :-)

I am and will forever be a goosher, but it would really suck if you moved to timer reactions. I thoroughly enjoy watching your reactions, your personality and Demeanor make it a real and unique experience. And the convenience of being able to watch on mobile is a huuuge part of it for me. I think mega is a great solution for the current problem at hand as it lets you watch in app and website while also having the ability to download the content to watch for offline viewing as vimeo(rip) did. Not being able to Embed a video is not a inconvenience to me, but in the end its your decision.

Brandon Nowakowski

I feel for the difficulties you're having here. Honestly though, I came for the anime reactions and they're pretty much all I watch here. One of the big reasons I like you is because you found a way to not have to do all the video timer B.S., because that's just a huge pain to try and watch. TL;DR, if you end up having to drop the anime videos, I won't have much of a reason to stay. I really REALLY hope you don't have to though.

Anonymous

could you also do timer/face cam videos for abridged? Also Minecraft server sounds awesome, I’ve been wanting to get back into Minecraft

Anonymous

I'm tore. I'll probably drop down from $10 to $5 but I'd probably stay with it. Although a big reason for me is the anime reactions, I still just find everything here pretty fantastic.

Noah

I have a question? If your account is suspended will you eventually get it back?

V_VMat

I would be disappointed if we lose the anime reactions, but I'm Goosher no matter what. I just love this community (even though I don't really interact much)

Anonymous

Fuck the Japanese companies!

Chrome

if you do the face cam as live streams I'd suggest doing a few episodes at a time maybe? there'd be no need for editing so it'd be a lot faster, plus you'd enjoy more one piece then, this whole situation really sucks honestly

Anonymous

Man the jojo reactions give me the little 5 minute boost of happiness seeing them uploded and then 30 minutes of something to do every day. I’d be heartbroken if theyre all gone. This is a disaster

michael Worley

I usually watch with my phone and can’t do it with a timer I prefer the download if possible

Anonymous

Although losing the anime reactions would be a bummer I'm staying a goosher! Love you and this community!! No homo... maybe

Irimu

Honestely, this sounds like a dream come true. I've always been one of the ones asking for full timer based reactions. I adore everything we watch here and with it being full length thats more time spent here which means more enjoyment. And the GOOSH becoming a 100% community thing sounds amazing as well. That way the people that only care about the reactions can go to You Tube and watch the timer reactions and the people that care about the GOOSH as a community can stay and have a more condensed community filled with only the people that care about it.

TCE

What exactly is a "face cam and timer?" I guess I'm more of a luddite than I realized. What would be the difference between watching a reaction done that way vs. the way they are now? Anyway, the reaction videos how I found this channel, and they're why I check it daily, but at the end of the day there's a 1000 reactors, and only one Goosh. That's why I stick around. It's be an adjustment, but we'd make it work.

Anonymous

FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Irimu

The difference is that you'd have to have one tab open with the episode running and another one in the corner with the face cam, or at least thats how I do it. If you ask me its way better because its more content for all of us to enjoy.

Anonymous

yeah the time thing is horrible for the viewer if you don't have 2 screens, trust me

Mikki_Frost

no, it's really not.. Just make one window smaller and place it over his video... not hard to do at aaaall. People who complain about having to adjust a secondary smaller window themselves, are just lazy and childish :P All it takes to watch a timer reaction with 1 screen , is a tiny bit of effort that takes maaybe 1 or 2 min..... Stop acting like spoiled brats

Anonymous

Im here for you and the community. The anime reactions were just a plus. Besides ive been too busy to keep up with reactions as is anyway

kinky28

gusher for life

Anonymous

Im primarily here for the reactions, but I also enjoy the community. I can promise id stick around at least long enough to see if i'd remain interested afterthe shift. And watch some stuff on YT for sure
