I have a feeling this little Corgi is gonna play a role going forward... And I'm certainly hoping the chick from "Big Shot" stays with us! :-D

THE CORGI IS CUTE, BUT THE GUNS ON THIS BIG SHOT ARE AWESOME! - Cowboy Bebop #2

I know what Ein (the dog) is, but I can't tell you. Well, I can't tell you until you've watched the whole series... Also, love the music in this series and this episode. Yoko Kanno did the music for this series and she's done a lot of music for other series, but what is interesting here is that she basically put a top notch band together to play and record all the music for this series. That band is called the Seatbelts; however, none of that music is available on spotify which really irks me.

Spike and Jet are the names of the two guys you've met so far and you'll meet Faye soon

Dojee

Did you catch that? Spike was talking about a 'fistful of woolongs'.

I've noticed that the writer of this series seems to have a fascination with fortune tellers. Between the bird-man in this episode, the Apache medicine man in the last one and the Vase-Lady from Samurai Champloo. Also "A black sheriff!" "He's black?" "Well, why not? It worked in Blazing Saddles."

I thought you said "Bruce Lee" during the episode, but it was Bruce Leeroy instead. Because Spike's fighting style is based off of Jeet Kune Do.

I think the setting of cowboy beepbop is one of the best out there, and honestly I didn’t remember much other than the ending(I remembered the dog was just a regular corgi until watching this) It embodies its space western theme so thouroughly. Back in those times people really could just move to another “planet” (town) and no one would’ve heard of them, or known their past. You had to go the extra mile and a half to track them down, so bounty hunters exist. And then in bebop we end up back like that, because now there’s entire solar systems between us. To me it feels somber, because it’s not just solar systems but also these are all planets, that’s gotta be so many people. It’s impossible to manage that, so you have the mafia actively putting out hits on people causing shootouts and murders on the streets and in this episode a long and destructive chase where authorities don’t get involved until the bad guys literally fall in their lap. But that’s just how it was back then

I can't wait until you meet Ed

To me cowboy Bebop is about dealing with your past , you don’t witness much character development because these characters are already developed/ post prime For example if Naruto began during Shippuden and focused on the repercussions of naruto part 1 with glances of the past here and there Cowboy Bebop is kinda like that You’ll see the plot in a few more episodes Most episodes are day to day activities but still contributes to the overall story

Yo gooshers, I've never watched cowboy Bebop, is it worth doing my own watchthrough in a subbed version alongside watching here? I usually find Japanese voice actors really up the atmosphere in most anime, in sure it's the same case here?

This animation is really deserving of a gold medal, I'd watch any anime story in this style, gorgeous

I'm a few episodes ahead, and this gets even better! I would definitely recommend checking it out ahead of my reactions!... Not only is it a pretty anime, but the music is incredible, too!

Wait where is the video, is that some kind of error?
