The Yusuke vs Yomi fight has been awesome on a number of levels, much the same as most of the fights in this tournament! I really like how now it's come down to an old school fistfight! :-)

I think that this is a really important episode. It asks a question that I think most watchers of Shounen anime wouldn't ask: Why is Yusuke there? He was a spirit detective and did the jobs of spirit world, but then he kind of shifts to being the subject of Toguro and Sensui, but after that, after Sensui, nothing was really forced upon him, he had to confront the fact that he had to make a choice. Yes, Spirit world was hunting him down, and he was contacted by Raizen, but he followed that not because people had forced him to, but because it was his first chance to take life into his own hands. The reason why it happens during Yomi's fight is 1) when he is in training, he had his father there as a reason, but 2) he didn't have to try until facing Yomi, he was going along in his motions. So, faced with something in which he couldn't just coast through, he suddenly realized that there is more to life. So, I find this to be an important moment in the anime that really seals the final episode for me.

Keiko was always Yusukes number one Raizen basically died for his woman so he knew and helped yusuke to realize what was most important to him and like he said she always had yusukes back she was just mad at losing him for the 3rd time even tho this time it was just going to demon world instead of dying again again (since he died twice)

Even though the endings rushed, these last 3 episodes are probably my favourite of the series. Shame your schedule wont let u finish it until Monday, having the double on Saturday for the finale would have been great 😁 anyways glad to be apart of another ride, here's to the next one 🍻

It always warms my heart to see two people enjoy beating the shit out of each other and smiling while doing so at that.
