And that's how Hashirama was created

This arc has some of the best character building in the series.

"I don't leave anything behind, I never have" I think this is probably one of my favourite lines of the episode, and I'm still trying to figure out its meaning fully, he's obviously intending it towards Yomi in someway, whether he means he never fully abandoned him, never let go of their friendship or something else, it obviously has some meaning, maybe he regrets what he did to his friend Yomi before? I mean both Kurama and Yomi now are completely different, they're less cold and vicious now, Kurama because of his family and friends, and Yomi from experience and maybe his son? Shura is around 5 months old, that may not be that long but family and becoming a parent can change people

You say here that Yu Yu started a lot of tendencies in anime. That may be true, but I just wanna remind you that both JoJo’s and Dragon Ball came before it, Curtis.

Yup, we've had the chronology conversation before. It's just that I see a lot of tendencies that I've seen later in a number of animes.

Yomi is slowly changing. His son and the environment of this tourny is affecting him.

A lot of people assume that the calm atmosphere of the final arc is due to it being rushed, and that does play a part, but I believe that it's mostly intentional, and I'll explain why after the final episode.

Ah, a Sakura (cherry) tree in bloom. One of the more beautiful sights in nature if you ask me.

I love the OST of the last arc is so nostalgic

For anyone reading, does it ever explain in the manga how the guy with the circle blade survived his fight with Hiei? I've always just assumed that he was healed the same way Hiei was but it's not addressed in the Anime, found it weird on my first viewing how he died then showed up for another fight again.

next episode is my favorite.

Idk if it was the same in the manga, been too long, but in this it seems like yomi wasn't assassinated. I mean kurama had the guy leave a message. He wanted him ATTACKED maimed/crippled not killed. Kurama knew I'd he stayed the same he would die, and he knew yomi felt competitive with kurama. So he removed his goal, and his ability, to get him off the track he was on. Ruthless, yes, entirely Ill natured, I'd say not really. not exactly on my list of worlds best wingmen , but it did seem like he wanted yomi alive at the least. So never truly left him behind.

Was next episode hieis thing(you know what I'm talking about)? If it is I 1000% agree. I forgot exactly when it happens, but I borderline worship that episode. I didn't see it coming and it's one of the best things I've ever seen.
