Hey, Gang...

Our pal, Raegan Rutherford, is considering sponsoring a new series as a GOOSHER 100 member. She has 2 series under consideration. She asked for my preference, and you guys have said good things about both and I'm undecided, so she asked me to poll you guys as to which one you'd prefer.

This should be fun!  :-)

Haven't seen Inuyasha but I've seen Akame ga kill and it's pretty trashy so imma vote Inu.

Nurufufufu inuyasha dub all the way. Nurufufufu my very anime when i was a kid and the first anime that introduced me to the world of anime but at the same time scared me of that genre in general. Only came back to anime because of naruto. So yeah inuyasha baby also because the soundtrack is beautiful

Akame ga kill fits this spread out upload format better. Inuyasha is better digested in rapid succession.

I was originally gonna vote for the dub for akame ga kill then rrmembered that the dub for that show fucking sucks balls, so yh I hope the sub for akame ga kill wins cause, as its being said by other guys here, it fits the goosher 100 format much better

Glad to see it so split, means i was justified in not being able to pick lol, im even more split now with some very good points being made such as the episode counts of them both, inuyasha has a special place in my heart, it was my first ever anime, and for most my life my favorite, and such a must see classic, that said akame ga kill was the first anime i finished while it was being made and is easily my fave dark anime, cant wait to see what you guys pick in the end

Inu is a classic shonen and that seems to almost keep a slot. With its length it's best saved till after OP watch the shorter show

Inuyasha is slow based, otherwise it is good. I just wish that you will feel joy I felt when I watched Kenichi, and an older anime called Kenshin. Please Curtis include them in future votes, just to see how many will like them.

Akame ga Kill is awful. Rushed storyline which breaks off from the manga (for worse imo) with characters being introduced and killed off and left and right before we even have a chance to connect with them. It's melodramatic teen bullshit one minute and admittedly awesome fight-scenes the next, but I don't think the latter is worth the former.

since it will be weekly, it's deffinitely better to watch akame ga kill and save inuyasha for later on for the daily watch

Inyuysha for sure. I’m often embarrassed I’ve never seen it given I’ve seen every other popular anime from the 90s. Well that and Sailor moon.

Id vote for Akame simply because Inuyasha is a long series and doesn't really make sense in the Goosher 100 format. If I remember correctly Inuyasha is close to 200 episodes long and Akame is only 24. As much as I think Inuyasha is great i'd rather watch it in the regular format rather than Goosher.

I mean it's long, but you could cut out at least 30 or so episodes of filler. Bringing it to around 160-ish altogether. Fantastic series, but it does drag a bit. Akame is a bit better fit, considering the amount of episodes. Though it would be entertaining to see Curtis check out some of the first few episodes of InuYasha at some point.

I think you would like inuyasha better. There are more close to naked, but funny scenes. ;) (from what I have seen of both, Yet I have seen more eps of inuyasha)

I think AGK will be the right choice since it's a bit shorter. Also the dub is one of the worse ones out there...especially when you watched it three times in sub before. It is kinda like an edgier FMAB. kinda.

Like others have mentioned, the GOOSHER 100 is more suited for Akame Ga Kill. We're talking 1 episode a month content here, which means it would take him over 10 years to finish Inuyasha it's way too much time. It's better suited for daily content. It'll probably get voted in for that at some point.
