So how the heck do you go about explaining to everyone that a dead kid suddenly came back to life? It's not like he was in a coma or something. He had no pulse (at least until he accepted the ordeal) and was officially declared dead.

Lol the story really glosses over that one. You could headcannon the spirit world wiping/altering memories but we know thats not true

Justsu, Quirk? No the Dragon Ball influence shines clearly here, these are basically ki attacks from Dragon Ball. The Spirit Gun is the equivalent to the Kamehameha wave.

that sword, reminds me of one I have seen used when I started viewing this. It is so odd knowing I have seen part of this show but not knowing when you will hit that part.

not sure if you realised this but Kurama has the same name as the nine tailed fox in Naruto, yu yu hakusho along with Dragonball obviously was one of the series that inspired Kishimoto, naruto's creator.

And the scary part? Roid dude is considered a small-timer compared to Kurama and Hiei. Also on the subject of peeking through Botan's clothes? She's wearing a kimono which traditionally isn't worn with underwear... have fun with that.

The guy who played Goki also voiced Android 16 if memory serves. Hiei's VA also voiced Android 17 and Pilaf from Dragon Ball as well as Shou Tucker from FMA. And Kurama's VA played Tien Shinhan. Of course, they've played a lot of other good characters, but most of it you haven't seen (yet).

Just for future reference, you won't ever find after-credits watching Yu Yu Hakusho. Some animes do it, others don't, and this isn't one of them.
