While it's fun seeing more Saiyans around, it seems kinda extreme how quickly Caulifla powers up! In any event, I think members of Universes 6 & 7 might want to start working together even more if there's gonna be a real opportunity to get past Jiren!

A lot of people hate Caulifla and Kale for this reason. I for one love it, epecially in an episode or two when they pull out their trump card.

Well Champa isn’t the brightest of Gods :D Also the majority of the community felt the same way about the U6 Saiyan powerups, but the author stated that he intended for them to have more potential than U7 Saiyans

Let's all again remember that Cabba's base form was equal or at least close to Vegeta's. Now, Cabba called Caulifla a genius, so obviously somebody more skilled than himself. See where I'm getting at? Caulifla is *not* where Goku & Vegeta were at their respective points when they obtained these power-ups, she simply didn't know of the existence of said power-ups

To be fair, the universes other than Universe 7 don't really have too many options. It's either eliminate Goku and hope that they can hide from Jiren and the other Pride Troopers (probably by suppressing their energy) or let Goku duke it out with Jiren and *maybe* the winner is severely weakened but also *maybe* Goku just becomes an even greater monster than him/Jiren defeats Goku as easily as the first time and they're back to square one. I don't blame them for picking the choice where they can actively do something as opposed to just hoping for the best.

I think these power ups come from the fact that these universe 6 saiyans are prodigies like goten and trunks and them going super saiyan faster than anyone. These saiyans Cabba, Kale, and Caulifla have the potential but didn't no of super saiyans existence.

I actually really like Caulifla. She's one of my fav character. She went 2 pretty easily but that just means she's a genius and was already very strong before learning how to go super saiyan. She went 2 but let's be real.. base form Goku was still keeping up with her so it's not like she's on Goku's level.

I know a lot of people don't particularly care for the way the characters of Caulifla and Kale were handled (Cabba too) but I feel like if there is more character growth and perhaps some backstory that gets told to us later down the line with the possible return of DBS, I think most of the problems their characters' face will (hopefully) be addressed. Anyways, great vids as usual, can't wait for the rest of DBS!

Well on the flip side it's nice to see how even though Caulifla and Kale are pulling new transformations out of their ass each episode, a seriously stamina-depleted Goku is still pretty much slapping them down every time they do. Really shows how insanely skilled and experienced Goku is compared to them

Keep in mind goku is still tired. Even at there best goku stomps then. Plus goku is purposefully playing teacher so he isn’t trying to take them out immediately.

There are no power issues. Broly was outrageous and unexplained, so Kale is perfectly consistent. Caulifla is AU Kakarot, who also learned techniques extremely quickly when they were demonstrated for him. Does anyone honestly think Goku would have had as hard a time going SSJ the first time if he hadn't bonked his head and become a good guy? He needed Krillin to die before he could transform all because he was NOT aggressive like Caulifla. She doesn't have that problem. She doesn't need her friend to explode. That's why it *seems* quick to you, but Goku would be the exact same if he had Caulifla's attitude. DBS critics are so dumb.

Curtis, everything Caulifla does makes sense when you understand she's the Goku of universe 6. Go straight for the strongest enemy, even when you know he's stronger than you, is exactly what Goku would do.

The thing is though. Caulifla never really powers up, past super saiyan 2. She says she wants to reach 3. It's in a saiyans biology to shit-talk, look at vegeta lol. He talks shit and gets stomped all the time. The only thing thats changing is Caulifla is getting used to how Goku has been fighting her and gaining experience because she's never been in a fight like that. the fact that goku can still take OK both Caulifla and Kale shows that she isn't as strong as she claims to be.

Honestly, as much as I love the Saiyan girls, this is the issue. They get their power too fast. The reason behind this is to set up for what happens in the next few episodes and MARKETING. However, the two never really go beyond SSJ2, they are just very strong SSJ2's. Caulifla is basically U6 Goku in that they both learn very fast. This was seen in DB and DBZ. Also note that the average U6 saiyans are leagues above the average U7 Saiyan if Cabba, Caulifla and Kale are anything to go by. Also, talking shit is basically part of Saiyan DNA at this point Look at Vegeta lol. She's not as strong as she thinks she is, however, she also knows that she can get stronger. And that's where her arrogance comes from. She is also a punk teenage girl, so there is that as well. She wants to get stronger, that's her goal. While the threat of erasure is a thing, she honestly doesn't care much about it. Her saiyan blood is burning and all she see is that this other Saiyan reached this level of power, so why can't I? Of course getting Blue is off the table as that has specific requirements. But I can see her getting 3 in the future as I doubt she will stop training. She will likely appear in Super when it returns as another main reason they are focused on is obviously for a Sadal arc and likely she is going to become a type of mentee to Goku along with Kale while Cabba is mentored by Vegeta. The possibilities are endless, but it isn't something you can fit within one tournament arc with people like Jiren around. So it's obvious that they are rushing her development her in order to give U6 that "True Trumpcard" seeing as Hit has sadly been eliminated. I still say that they needed an arc before this to expand on this stuff. If they did that, it would be much easier to swallow for people.

Everyone should keep in mind, it has never been confirmed that Caulifla is actually the U6 Goku. That’s just a theory that everyone thinks is fact.

Exactly. If Goku has a Super Saiyan show up and be like "this is how you go super saiyan", he would instantly go super saiyan at that moment. Just like Caulifla.

I never really got why this episode was so hated. Yeah, the power scaling is kinda funky, but you have to remember that nobody from universe 6 knew what Super Sayian was. They were likely all past the point of strength where they could typically use it, they just didn't know they could. In a way it makes sense they power up so hard. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely an asspull for marketing and didn't feel "earned", but idk man people act like it ruined the whole arc. It's really not that big of a deal.
