Now as a huge fan of Caulifla and Kale, I can tell that this is where people start getting divided on them. For the most part, one could say that the Saiyans of Universe 6 has much higher potential than U7 Saiyans. However, the issue is that how much is never explained. Matter of fact, much about the U6 Saiyans is not explained. Kale's power and how Caulifla could reach such incredible heights after such a short time. That's a writing issue. While I don't really care as it's still fun to watch and that's all I really care about. The writing is still flawed as this new transformation is not given any explanation. If the U6 Saiyan girls had more pre-tournament screen time (like Cabba who got his forms legitimately), I feel that the fanbase would be much less divided. I am looking forward to your opinion Curtis.

I'm also 100% certain that if Goku met Cauliflia way back in the original series, Chi Chi would have been an afterthought after this episode.

When even curtis can see the bullshit of this episode you already know how bad this episode was lol. Yes curtis this was one of the most hated episode of super 1# Califlia going ssj2 like nothing And 2#) kale walking through a ssj blue attack and going toe to toe with blue goku.

Looking past the more obvious Caulifla and Kale stuff, I remember some people on the DBZ subreddit being particularly salty about Nigrissi being one shot by Cabba of all people because his character bio on the official website and even his universe's Supreme Kai said that he was supposed to be the strongest modified warrior from his universe.

16 was not included in the wish to bring back every one killed by cell because 16 was completely robotic based off a once living human but no human parts to revive. Where as 17 & 18 where human with robotic enhancements so the dragon included them. or maybe 18 was alive at the time, I find it hard to remember. 17 was revived from this wish & was seen in 2 eps after the wish

I actually see a lot of liberties taken with the writing in DB, but knowing that, it's simply something I accept and don't allow it to harm my enjoyment of the show. The writing in this is clearly not structured as tightly as FMAB or HxH, for instance. However, once in a while - like these few things - it gets a bit much to where, even though I still enjoy the episode, I can't help but mention some of the ludicrous natures. :-D

Curtis the tournament gets confusing with how much effort goku is putting in. Unless he says “I’m going all out” assume he’s holding back. Even when in blue he constantly holds back that should help a bit with keeping powerscaling somewhat sensible.

any way you can turn up the volume on the anime itself curtis? Just, if I fully want to hear the show at a decent level your voice gets to be really loud and i can't seem to find a proper balance xP

Atleast they explain that broly body adapts with every hit so his constantly getting zenkai boosts with each hits. Kale is just as strong as the plot demand her to be.
