Kite and Slots are pretty damn cool! I like that combo!... Even though things have been going well so far against the freaky Chimera Ants, I have some serious concerns, particularly with the king's impending arrival and the ants' discovering of Nen!

in the heavens arena they talked about what happens if you go against someone who does know nen without knowing about it yourself thats why we had criple dudes in the arena and well rammot has gone up against gon and kilua and boy did they want to harm him that realised his nen its a really cool forshadowing when you hear about it first you are glad that gon and killua got their nen the normal way and now you never thought about someone else getting it the other way

Now Gon is building his viewpoint on the ants and how they (the ants) view each other, it might come back to bite him in the future.

The problem is Gon knows how the ants are created now. I.E. he realizes they may have been innocent people at some point (like that first little kid we saw) that were taken against their will and reborn with a mutated conglomeration of a gene pool. Shits about to get so good, my body is ready.

Since it is not a spoiler, rather a theory: About Kites ability There are several theories about the exact ways how his ability works. My favorite theory is that his spins are actually always perfect for the situation, though because kite dislikes fighting and killing he always says its a bad spin, meaning it was bad that he even had to use this spin This takes more weight considering the spins we have gotten so far and the situation he was in The first spin was 4, the pistol in the fight against the chimera ants in the drug factory. He said it was a bad spin but it was absolutely perfect for that situation. He oneshoted that guy and saved gon from a distance imagine him getting that huge scythe in the rather small tunnel, that would have been a bad spin Now we got the scythe spin which, again, was absolutely perfect for the situation. He never would have gotten them all with the gun Obviously im not talking about future spins but you can imagine that the theory fits absolutely perfect there too. Otherwise i wouldnt give the theory so much credit

This anime has some of the best animation quality I've seen. If I'm not mistaken, the same animators who worked on this also worked on One Punch Man. One Punch Man is prob the best animation I've seen in quite a long time.

killua and gon also got some nen awakened forcefully by wing when they got some nen shoved inot them. there were 2 ways of learning nen: this and the slower way

It is the same studio, although One Punch Man is more recent. However the next season of One Punch Man isnt being animated by Madhouse .... :(

I love how they brought back catching Razor's spike for this battle. In any other Anime the Dodgeball game would've been an odd sideplot that would've never been brought up again. Never would've had any bearing on any future fights. In Hunter x Hunter they make it that that skill that they worked so hard to learn actually came in handy. Even if it was just against a lowly mook.

Strong Nen attacks unlock the mycropyles in a person body allowing them to harness Nen if they survive. It was explained by Wing a while back.

I appreciate you guys nudging my memory on some of this. By my memory’s standards, I actually remember a LOT of what’s going on. I think it’s just because I’m genuinely loving all these series so much... But, let me tell ya, my enjoyment gets increased a lot by you guys picking me up where my memory does let me down! 😊

Well technically that's incorrect, there are plenty of female ants besides the queen, they just aren't fertile. The non-mating ants become workers, while ants born to be queens have wings and lose them whenever they become a queen.
