Apologies, Gang, for forgetting to watch the After Credits scene during recording! I did remember to watch it today, before I watched the next episode, so I know about the flower lady reaching out to Mustang on behalf of General Armstrong... I have the list of After Credits episodes right in front of me, but even that doesn't seem to be enough to overcome all the chir shots!  :-(

I wanted that dipshit dead, but I never thought my girl, Armstrong, would take care of business that quick! This is all gonna put her in a precarious spot with Bradley and the gang, though!

Hey Curtis. I'm new to the Patreon and I'm loving your reactions to these episodes since I'm a relatively new fan of FMA:B myself. Have you considered following up this series with a viewing of the full-length movie Sacred Star of Milos that came out in 2011?

SpazBoysComedy

I hadn't thought about it. Well, I actually didn't know about it. :-D It certainly seems like something to look into.

Hey Curtis I was wondering if you are gonna watch the 2003 version of Fullmetal Alchemist that aired before FMA:B did to see how they compare to one another since the 2003 version does differ more from brotherhood as time goes on cause its actually really good

Hohenheim is such a dork, but he’s one of the best written characters in the anime in my opinion :) I liked that you began feeling sympathetic to him. Im really excited for a certain episode that’s not too far away which contains some more information about him :) great reaction!

SpazBoysComedy

I would like to. I'd have to see when I could find time to watch it. I wouldn't do reactions to it, though, just because there are SO many other series I want to share with you guys. :-)

General Armstrong is the best! Also your unease of Kimblee around Winry is somewhat warranted. It is not mentioned in the series, so not a spoiler just more background for a later conversation. While in Ishval before he killed the military officers, but shortly after he injured Scar Kimblee was tasked with taking out two doctors who were helping the enemy. Needless to say when he arrived Scar had already done his work for him and left. Might want to remember that for later because that is definitely not what you are led to believe.

Glad they're finally getting around to Hohenheim's backstory. But with so much changed from the Manga I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever get the full story. Or if it'll just be glossed over to save time.

Just wait until general Armstrong will meet her brother :D

And so we meet the final sin. I can't wait to see your reaction to the reveal of their identity.

Kimblee x Olivier power couple!

I love the scenes with Hohenheim at the start of this episode, how it shows you the other side of the spectrum of immortality. So many people in this story seeking it out, but the one human who was able to become immortal now recognizes it as a curse. Life is meaningless without the bonds you share with other people, but if you never die, life would also be miserable watching all the people you come to love die before you.

Anthony Iacobucci

I mean, it's definitely a "the grass is always greener on the other side" situation, but personally I think I'd be okay with it. You'd just have to learn to love without attachment, or with attachment but be strong enough to move on with each person who outlives you.
