Gluttony actually swallowed half of Envy not our boy Lovitz

A lot of people really dislike gluttony, but I ended up loving his character just like you. To me he was just a little kid who was with the bad guys.

Ling has always been one of my favorite characters! I really like all of the characters from Xing. I was always indifferent to Gluttony, but this episode he really made me mad too lol.

Idk if u noticed but that dead body with the priest outfit was the guy from the beginning of the show with the fake philosopher stone. Gluttony ate him. we hear pride vioce for the first time in the anime which is awesome. Also how do you feel about Envy? i like his character but he probably biggest douche out of all the humonculi lol.

7:19 fun fact. In the bloopers, the voice actor for envy did a scooby doo impression during that scene haha

Yeah you should really do the bloopers when you’re done with the series, and that wasn’t Ling who got ate in half it was envy

Not just bloopers, there's also the "Koma theater" comedy skits and a few OVA episodes. Not forgetting some really good videos on youtube that talk about the show in more depth. I hope you'll get to watch them when you've finished.

In hindsight it should've been obvious that the General Staff were in on it. I mean seriously this is a military dictatorship, who knows how many of them would be plotting to overthrow and replace Fuhrer Bradley. You can very easily put an end to the kind of political infighting that occurs in such governments. If you lay down the law, you can't be killed so stop trying and put the fear of God into them. As Machiavelli once said it is better to be feared than to be loved.

That was half of Envy. Hence why that half dissipated as you said. If it was half of Lee, then he would most certainly be dead.
