fasten your seatbelt curtis because this is going to be a HELL of a ride. It is definitely one of the best anime out there. but truth be told in very few episodes you´re gonna need handkerchiefs. and by that i mean you really will need them. FMAB has for me two tearjerker scenes (not counting the finale there i´m only crying because it´s badass) and they are round about the worst emotional heavy hitters i have experienced. And for you i´d say the first one will be far worse than the second one. So i´d say once you see a big tanned dude with white hair: run grabbing handkerchiefs

The first one you're talking about is probably the heaviest emotional hit I've seen in anime. It's impossibru to not hate the character for the rest of the series.

Haha i always loved Alphone Voice Actor and edwards. Whenever they are in a anime i instantly know who they are. Expecially Eds vioce its very unique. Same goes with Gaara Voice actor as well

It's filler in the sense that it's not part of the manga's original storyline, it's an anime exclusive, while the vast majority of Brohood is canonical. Don't get me wrong, it's a good introductory episode for people who hadn't seen FMA03 or read the manga, but if they had cut it from the show it wouldn't really affect the overall story.

One thing to note. Keep on eye on Edwards height. I wont say how but it is used as a themeatic tool throughout the series. Im sure you will be able to figure it out.

Every time Ed transmutes Al’s soul into the armor it gives me chills. The music, his voice acting/speech, the scene is just perfect. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m so happy we get to experience this great anime with you Curtis :D

The voice is similar to that of Christopher Sabat, the voice actor of All Might, but they're not the same.

The voice you haven't recognized is that of the main character, Edward Elric. He also voiced kid Obito in the English dub.

Pretty sure Vic Mignogna voiced Adult Obito too. He has a pretty wide range and that slight raspiness to his voice is very recognizable. Case in point: He does Edward Elric and he also voices Broly.

I remember when i was a young kid i would illegally download 2 episodes of this show a day after school, easily my favourite anime of all time
