We all like Mike but he's a little full of shit here with his "we had a good thing going with Fring" speech. Walt is so egotistical and unpleasant it's easy to forget his final falling out with Fring wasn't his fault, it came when Fring wanted to kill Jesse and Walt stopped it. I don't know if Mike realizes it but he's as good as telling him "if you just kept your head down and let Jesse get murdered I could've kept my pension."
