Okay, Gang, the nominations have been made, and now it's time to vote for the show you'd like to see following Baki.

For reference, the other levels will be Game of Thrones (after catchups on Horimiya and One Piece) and Always Sunny. With Sunny, though, I will be putting more catchups or short series in between seasons sometimes.

On one hand, Full Metal Panic is amazing and has Fumoffu, which is up there with Konosuba as far as anime comedy goes. On the other, Bojack Horseman is one of the best shows of all time and actually has a chance of winning.

Dont get me wrong, Bojack has some decent moments, but one of the best shows of all time? Like its a good show, but I wouldn't even call it top 100. But hey, thats just my opinion 🤷

Of course it’s all a matter of opinion, but imo Bojack has more than just a few decent moments- its portrayal of addictions, mental health, and generational trauma (among other things) is top notch

I mean... Bojack's writing is pretty millenial, Reddit like writing, it's messaging is really obvious and there's a constant sense the writers think they're smarter then they are, you can like what you like, but I did genuinely give the series a try and couldn't stand it.

That’s fair- not every show is going to appeal to everyone- I personally think the writing is brilliant and the themes if obvious are well and poignantly presented- but everyone is entitled to their opinion

Out of curiosity, did you only watch a few episodes of season 1? It really found its footing and started hitting its stride near the end of season 1 or start of season 2- most fans agree that the first season is the weakest- but it’s still fair if you watched more than that and still don’t like it

I know I finished at least season 1, like I remember the whole wedding thing and the three kids in a trench coat thing, but I don't remember where exactly I stopped. It's been a while, Bojack was still kind of new when I tried it.

I'm same as you, could never get into Bojack. I'm just voting it so pokemon doesn't win outright and we can get a revote with the front runners. I think Curtis would enjoy Bojack more than poke tbh and I haven't seen any of Inuyasha so have no opinion on it. the op is fire tho. gives me nostalgia even tho I've never seen the show.

Yes, but I also never claimed that Pokemon was quick. I'd like to state for the record that my actual vote is Teen Titans which is shorter than both of those shows, but as this is clearly a dead heat race between Pokemon and Bojack, if I want my vote to actually matter I'm picking the one of those two shows I've actually seen even though it goes against my principles of nominating really long shows while he's already watching a really long show called Always Sunny

This channel about to be cooked for variety frfr. 162 episodes for Always Sunny with another season on the way. Effectively 146 for GOT since he's splitting them in half. If Pokemon wins that's another 1000+. My man gonna be watching the same three shows for the next like over half a year

Just FYI to Curtis and the gang here, Pokémon is going be a copyright nightmare. You think star gate getting hit with strikes is crazy. Nintendo is notorious for copyright strike and sueing. There is a YouTuber called suede. He did pokemon abridged And Nintendo took him to court and sued him . His got a whole video about it on his channel . Nintendo will sue even if it's fair use. Same thing happened to SML YouTube channel, that's why they stopped using the Nintendo dolls.. there is many examples of Nintendo taking people to court.

you mean the guy who several years ago said his channel would be gone and there's nothing to stop it? And then not only did his channel continued, he still made videos on Pokemon without issue? I mean... there's also the fact you can find plenty of other reactions to the anime on youtube with no problem, even that Suzy who caused the giant copyright issue a while ago. 9 out of 10 times there's some copyright thing with Nintendo it involves game modding or pirating via emulators. I could also bring up the fact that you can probably expect potential issues with Bojack as well if we want to talk about strikes... that shows own produces demanded their own artists remove any content they've made relating to the show from the internet when it started getting big.

Could also bring up the fact that for Nintendo to even catch wind of this reaction in the first place they'd have to be paying Curtis money to even see it because these Pokemon reactions aren't going up on YouTube in the first place. The likelihood that Nintendo will even be CAPABLE of knowing this in the first place is basically zero because why would a Nintendo employee be subscribed to Curtis's Patreon account of all people?

I said his name was suede and if you look up his channel its basically dead now and his Pokémon abridged videos are all gone ( i download them so i still have them all, he did 4 of the moives and did all the episode till like half way tho jototh you can find some reaction to his abridged/review). SML stop using Nintend dolls cause they claimed copyright on the dolls they used. Look up sml new videos nothing Nintendo. So no not the same person.. I haven't seen myself any videos of pokemon reactions that is not heavy edited. If you can drop the channel names I would like to see them. Only channel i know is sorta stupid and they did the moives but there videos are heavily edited . Curtis will probably have to use a timer like star gate or something. I was still blowen away star gate got strike, that those videos are private to just us patreons

The Stargate 100 videos got claimed and that's not on YouTube. So idk how that happen but it did. Also if you been here as long as I have Curtis lost videos on here . There was point where he had to re-upload a lot of videos. Cause of bullshit and to be clear I love pokemon just saying Nintendo is assholes about this stuff . It says 20 for both to me- but that said, one could still be ahead of the other given with 300 (rounding for simplicity) votes then 3 people represent 1 percent- and unless my eyes are wrong or the graph isn’t accurate, it looks like Pokemon is probably ahead by at least 1 vote
