I'm looking and wondering why Jaden didn't ditch Mirror Force with Emergency Provisions after activation to get 1000 more back. It's a perfectly legal move, the effect will still resolve to destroy Terror King, and he's gonna have to ditch Mirage anyhow before his standby phase to keep the 4 cards he drew from it, might as well use it on Mirror Force too.

As much at LK points out Jaden's single minded nature towards whatever concerns him, to the point of taking serious shit too lightly, the show does eventually address that side of him as the plot becomes far more serious beyond 'Oh we'll have a lot of fun duels and then some duels to the death at the end'. By the later parts, the duels begin to become duels to the death.
