I've joked about it, but it does feel like it's just going to constantly be whatever the "current thing" is that beats Inuyasha in the polls, it's a bit tiring honestly lol. Sesshomaru's demon form is pretty demented looking honestly, it's fairly unique and a perfect design for the hand drawn animation style of the early 2000s, the detail, darker shadows and grain of the animations do wonders for the design. all of the demons in the series are based on, or at least inspired by actual Yokai legends in Japan, Japan has a lot of really messed up demon stories. I won't talk about what other characters Sesshomaru inspired yet, but he is a fairly influential character on the greater industry, especially for some antagonists.
