I knew Leslie Thompkins's voice was really familiar, so I decided to look it up, she's played by Diana Muldaur, from what I've seen she's a little type cast in the role of a doctor. She played Dr Pulaski in season 2 of Star Trek TNG, she's a great actress, she unfortunately left that role because she was apparently being mistreated by TNG's other actors because she replaced one of the previous main characters (Thompkin's was a better actress, and better written), she also made more more money because she had a better contract then most of them because she's smart lol, so that caused tension as well, actors are petty.
