This picture was built on the basis of 3D models. I modeled the poses in 3d software, set up the lighting, and then choose an interesting angle.

Wonderful art - nice pose, beautiful colors, and superb lighting! I have mixed feelings about the use of 3D models. I think 3D models make the anatomy of your TLK characters more "geometrically" accurate, but the characters drawn in your traditional TLK style appear to look more natural and more emotionally expressive (although I really like the facial expression of Kovu in your recent post "Me and my tail").
