My mom always says “what makes Kpop different is the devotion between both the fans and artists, they show how grateful they are towards their fans and their fans devote themselves in making them more successful because they feel that gratitude”. Kpop artists save so many fans and in turn some of them learn to be stronger and are saved by their fans. Kpop is more than just the music or album sales, me opening an episode of Going Seventeen after a crappy day of crying is everything because I get to laugh and forget the reality I’m living in. What’s sad is no one really understands our emotions, for example the way you guys looked so happy after seeing Jiwoong…it’s overwhelmingly beautiful. Same situation when I found out about Moon Bin ,I was literally grieving (still am) but I couldn’t talk about it to anyone cause no one would understand…I wanna go on but I’m starting to get emotional.

Agreed. It's really frustrating when people claim that Kpop and all of the groups and idols are fake and inauthentic and that they only care about the money and fame and not their fans or that they don't work hard in comparison to other artists when it's the exact opposite and so many people still don't see or understand this side of Kpop and why fans are so devoted abd attached to the groups and feel so connected to them, THIS is why Kpop is so popular and loved and I hate that so many people can't understand that. The same goes for people who claim that their group is the only hardworking, genuine and humble group and the only one that cares for their fans to this extend and truly want to be connected and devoted to their audience when so many groups in Kpop are the same way and work just as hard and genuinely and that's really sad as well to look down on so many amazing groups and disrespecting and discrediting them just so their own favourite group can look better in comparison and "proving" that they're the "best", it's frustrating that people can't seem to just treat other artists with respect and recognition even if they aren't fans.
