What WWX experienced, the actor playing him experienced it in real life. Imagine just doing your best, doing what you think is right, and out of nowhere, people started slandering you for something you were not involved in, for something you did not do. This is basically how the people and cultivators prosecute WWX in the Untamed, the same thing happened to Xiao Zhan. Maybe as wwx said, people are not interested to know if you are guilty or not, they just want a common target and appear "good" by joining the majority. Look how people just joined the "I am a commoner and I hate Xiao" trend by then. They just want to appear "righteous" without thinking logically. Sometimes fiction is a reflection of realities. I am just happy Zhan had remain strong through these times. Sadly, not all celebrities can survive such prosecution. On another note, just to correct some things in the video. Street Dance China Season 3, where WYB first appeared, was filmed and aired after the Untamed. It was around mid 2020, I think. Whereas, Produce 101 was filmed and aired during the time they are filming The Untamed in 2018. I remember that Zhan was even a guest in one of the episodes of Produce 101, which I personally think WYB had lobbied the production for it. Funny thing is, when the episode aired, where Zhan guested, Yibo and Zhan appear as if they don't know each other. But in reality, at that time, they are already close to each other and Zhan would then tease Yibo with his dance moves and Yibo was the one who taught Zhan the dance moves while they are filming, all of this was shown in the bts of the Untamed. Clearly, what they show publicly, is a contrast of their real interactions. Right now, both of them are thriving. Xiao had been filming dramas and movies consecutively. Whereas Wang had been Olympic torch bearer in Paris. I just wish for them to be happy and healthy. Regardless of whether they do interact privately or not, I hope that the friendship built in the Summer of 2018, remains.
