OMG♡ thank youuu~~ Weiying's song and Yi city song are one of my my faves.. The mix of chinese traditional music (flute, guqin, etc) and modern music in chinese dramas OST simply never failed 🥰 Pls react to Xiao Zhan - Wang Yi Bo live performance of "A Laughter in the Sea" . I hope you managed to get some good rest and do everything you wanted to 🫶 I'm glad we're back tho, it's like we never left 🥰 And what a way to start the bonus content reactions! The Untamed has undoubtedly one of the best soundtracks in cinematic history!! My reaction to listening to those songs is the same as yours hearing them for the first time - I'm in AWE. And they never fail to make me emotional, the songwriters are absolute magicians 😭🤧 I love how WWX's character song doesn't just focus on his relationship with LZ, although it's also heavily featured because ofc it's a central part of the story. But it also talks abt WWX's own morals, his outlook on life and the choices he makes as a person, which is incredible to hear, especially in Xiao Zhan's angelic, breathtaking voice. LZ's song on the other hand talks mainly abt his love for WWX, which is one of his most prominent driving forces in the whole series - almost every choice he makes has some kind of connection to WWX. And that's also as beautiful as the song itself 🤧 (also, WWX's song has a lot of flute solos in it, while LZ's has a lot of guqin, but both songs feature a duet of both instruments, like WWX and LZ are always playing together ❤️) Also, I wondered long what live performance to include, because most of them are copyrighted and I didn't know if yall wanted to post it on Youtube, so I decided to go with this one (sorry it's not the best quality 🥺). Anyway, there's also live performances of WWX and LZ's songs as well by Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo, in case you wanna check them out 😉 (quick question abt the bts content: do you plan on posting it to YouTube? if not, I could also send you some links that might otherwise get copyrighted 👀) Thanks for the great reaction, love yall 🫶

Thank you so much for this amazing reaction. All the Untamed character songs are literally sooooo good, most of them are sung by the actors themselves like Wei Wuxian’s song, Lan Zhan’s, Wen Ning’s, Lan Xichen’s, Jiang Cheng’s and the juniors’ song. But Wei Wuxian’s character song has a special place in my heart, Xiao Zhan’s voice is so beautiful and combined with the sad story of Wei Wuxian’s life, I just feel like crying every single time. You guys also kept on mentioning the visuals, but don’t forget that the Untamed had such a very small budget. The actors, staff and everyone else basically had a wig, the costumes and a dream and they made it WORK.

Yibo and Xiao Zhan seemed closer in the Thailand performances, but nevertheless, they were close as really good friends you can see it in the behind the scenes videos and the interviews they had! They were really playful with each other actually 🩷

I hope you all had a well-deserved rest. Well deserved. 🤗 You know, I love all these The Untamed’s OSTs because they really connect the story of each character very well. I really like WeiYing and LanZhan's song, so beautiful both of them. WeiYing's song especially because it has that part with old Chinese opera in which he does a duo with a woman's voice, it's as if he shared it with a female ghost, I love it. I hadn't paid enough attention to WenNing's song, it is beautiful and almost made me cry. Now, I will wait for the reaction to Jiang Yanli s song, it always makes me cry. Thanks again for following the Fandom's suggestions. Thanks thanks.

They've said that there are other animes people wanted them to do for a very long time so I'm not sure if they'd react to the donghua, however, if there are tiktoks made for them of the donghua or if there are "The Untamed" tiktoks that have the donghua included, that's the only way they'll be able to react to the anime version for now!

Getting this notification like 2 minutes before my shift started, and I wanted to rip my hair out in frustration haha. At least I could look forward to this for when I got home! So happy to see you guys back, and I hope you all enjoyed your break alot! I'm still in my sad girl era, but coping with rewatching the untamed again haha. Littuarly all of our comfort show, but with zero to little comfort... but we still love haha <3

I absolutely loved the comment section aspect of the reactions so I would totally keep it going for other reactions if you guys want to! Also lan zhan’s character song is my favorite bc it was so melancholic and romantic which I feel like invokes really deep feelings when you listen to it. But they’re all sooo good!

I really love the songs they are all so good!!! I think my favourite are Jiang Cheng's and Wei Wuxian's!!! I am not sure if we can request stuff here but I would love if you guys could react to Xian Yun! It is the song that Lan Zhan made for Wei Ying and sang for the first time back at the cave!! But it is the donghua version! I think this is my favourite version of the song haha Here is a link if you want to!
