Yes Overlord can be exposition heavy at times it was very much like this in the Light Novel as well (Believe it or not they have cut stuff so some of these scenes are still long despite that). Also just curious in your guys opinion how do you think this when it has long dialogue is worse in comparison to slime? Like the last episode of that you guys did the entire episode was a meeting at a table talking the entire episode yet it flowed better despite the Overlord ep being only 7-8ish mins of a talk scene by comparison (Or at least i assume you guys think that seeing as there were no complaints in the reaction about it, also there were people on the Crunchyroll comment that even complained about that slime ep mentioning that it was too much talking). Anyway i find it fascinating why people prefer one over the other despite on paper being the same in the way it has alot of talking(Technically more so in the Slime ep). Ya think maybe it might be you guys just dont like watching side characters talking too much as opposed to the more likeable main cast? Idk any just curious about what you guys think as personally i love both Slime and Overlord and it didnt really bother me at all (Excluding the Lizard man part i felt about the same there ). Note- Ya did mention the show stuff while talking point but just b4 ya pointed that out they just finished with Showing Lakyus when they were talking about her doing just what ya said by showing. Granting b4 that they did not. but the complaint was brought up after that was showed.
