To the demons Frieren is the monster they would tell their kids about to get them to behave, if demons taught their children at all anyway.

The kanji for the "sousou" part in the title can be interpreted in different ways. Depending on the context it can mean "someone who escorts people to the other world" or like "Frieren of many funerals" ... so up until this point (if you're japanese) you might think that the title refers to the theme of the show of Frieren outliving her friends and dealing with that which it does to an extent , but this episode would be the "reveal" that it's actually the nickname the demons gave her "Frieren the slayer" which is another way of reading that kanji :)
