It's always very hype when a show plays a nostalgic song. Can't think of many examples off the top of my head though. Also, in the novel, if I remember right (it's been over 5 years since I read arc 4), Subaru asks Echidna some questions, one related to Rem I think? Despite this being an adaptation that removes most intros and outros and has more run time each episode than other anime, they still removed a lot of key details. Just goes to show how much content is actually in a book at the end of the day. For that reason, reading is my favorite way to consume media. I get to enjoy a world a lot more that way!

Redemption

You've actually seen the witch of Envy about 3 times already, most prevalent is Geuse seeing her inside Subaru. Far too trusting of a literal witch you just met, let alone Greed. Also her condition before sending him out was to forget about their meeting. If Subaru wasn't Subaru, that meeting could of been totally different, boring, and trivial to her. Doubt she is under 400 years old from the way Archbishop Greed and Gluttony talked about their pet whale being around for 400 years.
