Hello everyone.

I would like to explain about the blurry appearance of character when using Shoost. There are two main possible causes of blurry. One is due to the screen effect settings and the other is due to the capture resolution of the character.

For screen effects, the only way to find the best settings is to adjust the parameters. On the other hand, if the resolution of the character is low, the blurry can be eliminated by adjusting the capture resolution.

About character resolution.

As an example, let's say you have a VTube Studio capture. For example, suppose the character is 1600 x 2048 pixels.

In VTube Studio, characters are displayed at 1600 x 2048 pixels.

However, when displayed in Shost using Spout or Window Capture, it depends on the VTube Studio window size, not the original resolution of the character (1600 x 2048).

Specifically, if the window is 1280 x 720 pixels, then the image of the character sent to Shost will be 1280 x 720 pixels.

In other words, the resolution is reduced from the original.

Furthermore, if the image is enlarged using Shoost Scale parameter from this state, the image is simply enlarged while the resolution remains low.

As a result, the image appears more blurry.

So what should we do? The answer is simple, instead of enlarging the image in Shoost, increase the window size in VTube Studio to increase the resolution of the output.

Increasing the output resolution eliminates the need to use the Scale parameter. This alone will eliminate the blurry look.

However, if the image still looks blurry, try using the "Sharpen" function or change the "Canvas Resolution" setting to High Quality.
