Shoost v0.6.0 (Patreon)

Hello everyone.

I just updated Shoost to v0.6.0!

Two new features are added.

Recording function

Video recording and screenshot functions will be added.

When you select a resolution and output destination and start recording, a video will be created in the specified folder. Screenshots will be created in the same folder with the name with the date added.

Start Recording to create a video in mp4 format. Create an image in png format with Screenshot.

By switching the Microphone symbol, you can select with or without sound.


Pan Follow

This function allows the camera to follow the character (Layer 2). (This is pseudo camera tracking.)

The camera does not trace the character's movements exactly, but makes it look like it is following the character by calculation. Depending on the shape of the character, it may not move correctly.

The icon in the middle is the PanFollow function.

The width of the pan can be adjusted with Speed, and the speed of following can be adjusted with Smooth.

Other adjustments and bug fixes.

Shaking can be adjusted by changing the icon and the intensity of the shaking.

Trimmed the window frame so that it does not appear during Window Capture.

Fixed a bug that the screen flickers with the flare function.

Fixed a bug that the cursor does not hide.

Wondering if I am the only one experiencing the right side of the menu's hitbox being a bit lower than visual?

The number of menus changes when Pan Follow or other options are selected.

This is a really good software, I saw the panning and is what made me jump to try it out. It's really good, I've tried face tracking plugins in obs but they never yield the results needed. I would probably only use this though for videos because capturing Shoost instead of a transparent vtube studio capture makes the effects and filters I had for my character become null and void. If the panning could somehow be made into a plugin to work in OBS I'd definitely pay for something like that. For now the program does a great job at what you've set up in the controlled environment of the software.

Screen shotting is just making a blank image with nothing on it for me. :c

Hi :) Love your program! I have noticed that when I save my file and re-load it , that I actually don't end up getting my settings back , it just kind of loads in the default file. I'm not sure if this is an issue everyone is getting or if i'm just doing something horribly wrong

Hello, I really liked this application, it is as if I could put Glow effects that I would do in after effects only in Livestream. but I would like more features such as chromatic aberration effect, VHS and if possible that the App was a little less heavy to work better on Computers with lower settings and that I could resize the window more.

the only problem so far is that it is very heavy and taking CPU usage very high so it is very complicated to use together with Vtube Studio

Hey, This application its awesome, but im having a issue, when i use the select window option it turns into a blank image, i want to use your application with Vseeface but every time i try it, turns into a blank screen.

I am loving all the new features, they're awesome, but I was wondering if in the future Shoost could send an Alpha channel as well as RBG with SpoutCam? The chromakeying inside shoost is exelent, but I can't use it in tandem with OBS. ^^;
