Welcome to my new improv series - Play My Cards Right! Why is it called that? And why is the image for this post two weird-looking cards with random sentences on them? Well, let me fill you in.

The point of this series is to give everyone a 'peek behind the curtain,' should y'all want one. (If not, just listen to the final audio, as normal!) The basic premise is simple - I will draw two cards, one from a Love Letters deck and one from a Sexy Messages deck, then use the phrases on those cards to improvise an audio on the spot. No preparation, no advance notice as to what I'm going to get, nothing. And I leave the microphone recording while I figure out what I want to do, all the way through the end of the audio. Then I take the audio, do my regular editing, and ta-da! We have the finished product.

But I don't just post the final audio. Oh no, that wouldn't be fair. Nope, I'm posting the raw, unedited process from front to back, alongside the completed audio.

Pretty neat, right? I hope so! Each episode will have 3 audios with it:

1. Intro - drawing the card and coming up with the concept - Unedited, raw, just me being me and figuring out what I'm going to do.

2. Raw audio - the original improv with no editing - what did it sound like when it just came out of my head?

• This will be a separate Patreon post that goes up at the same time as the main audio post.

3. The final edited audio - after I've done all the effects and polishing, the final released audio.
