I guess to kinda help clarify a bit about Ultear cause it is a little confusing. Essentially during the tower of heaven 8 years ago when Jellel came face to face with "zerefs spirit" it was her using magic to essentially manipulate ans brainwash him into what he is today. It was all a farce. Then after that she continued to manipulate him making him think he was in control the whole time bur in fact it was her. Hope that clears up anything.

2024-06-18 00:52:37 Ultear being Ul's daughter (a wizard saint) was immensely powerful even at a young age to the point of manipulating Jellal. Her backstory will be revealed at the S Class Examination Arc.
