Part 13 – The Second Confrontation = After her horrible misadventure with Miss

Miranda to the nurse’s station, Lexi spent as much time as she could hiding out in the empty

cabin until she knew she finally had to track down her crew or she’d get in more trouble.

After making sure the drawer her “protection” was in was blocked and her bed was as

covered as it could be, she popped a piece of gum into her mouth and went to the activities board

and found that her campers were at the ‘Arts and Crafts’ station. Lexi rolled her eyes at this. Arts

and Crafts, seriously? You’d think this was a camp for 7 year olds.

She took a few deep breaths knowing that this was gonna suck, before walking into the

Arts and Crafts station. All her girls were inside working on some woodblock project something

or another. She wasn’t sure where the attendant was, but they weren’t working on anything

dangerous so perhaps they were fine with them hanging out by themselves. It was only the 7 of

them in there.

At first none of the girls noticed her come in, which Lexi was more than fine with, but

before long they all looked up and noticed her standing there.

“Hey there tinkles!” Annabeth called out, already chuckling. “Have a nice time at the

nurse’s station?”

The twins looked up from the apparent puzzle boxes they were making and Violet looked

up from a wooden rose she was working on. It was immediately clear to all of them that the air

between them had changed. Whereas before all of them had been angry with her, but also scared

to get on her bad side; now all 7 of them could tell that things were different. They weren’t

scared of her anymore.

“Did you really pee the bed?” Brandi asked, barely holding back her giggles.

“Didn’t you see it?” Sakura replied. “Her sheets were soaked.”

Tori poked her head up, “We told you before. Statistically a decent percentage of older

kids still wet their beds. In fact, the ones who do have it happen very often.”

“Hear that Lexi? Hehehe.” Annabeth mocked. “This might only be the first of many.

Unless you’ve done it before and we just didn’t know it.”

As the girls collectively giggled and chatted to each other, Violet was the one who

remained silent the longest as she glared at Lexi, the sting of what the girl had done and said a

few days ago apparently still very fresh in her mind. Finally she spoke up herself, “Who’s the

bed wetter now, huh Lexi? You’re the pathetic baby here, not me. You can make fun of me, but I

haven’t even worn my protection a single time this whole summer so far. You don’t see me

having a wet bed do you?”

With each new comment the girls sent her way, Lexi could feel the anger she’d already

felt today boiling. Soon she snapped, “Listen here you little shits,” She said, practically spitting

the words out. “I know one of you is responsible for what happened to me last night, don’t think

I don’t. And whoever it was better hope I don’t find out, or you’re gonna get it.”

“Pfft,” Annabeth scoffed. “Threatening campers, that’ll look really good on the next job

review won’t it?” She chuckled. Annabeth stood up from her seat and stood tall, about even with

Lexi’s height. “Face it... bitch. You lost this round. And now... according to camp’s regulations...

I believe somebody has to wear protection for a while now. Isn’t that right?”

Brandi the goody-two-shoes rule follower of course was the one who spoke up, “She has

to wear them for 2 weeks actually. And has to stay dry all of those nights or that time gets reset.”

Lexi glared harshly at all of them. They already knew. They knew all about the protection

she’d fucking have to wear now. There wasn’t even a point in hiding it. How had the tables been

so effortlessly turned on her?

“Is that so?’ Annabeth chuckled. “Well... we better hope our little tinkles doesn’t have

any more problems now, hehehe.”

Outnumbered 6 to 1 Lexi gave them all another deep glare before snootily letting out a

“Hmph!” and saying, “Shove it.” She said in her best intimidating voice directly to Annabeth.

“Just work on your stupid projects, idiots.”

She felt childish as she walked away to sit down and ‘pout’ but she’d said the best she

could and walked away to sit on the far bench in the room. The girls laughed a little at their clear

victory, but soon went back to their work.

For the next hour or so the girls kept working, almost completely ignoring Lexi other

than the occasional teasing comment from Annabeth. The whole time she spent her time zoning

their stupid noises out and fantasizing about ways she could get revenge on them. Maybe she’d

put worms in all of their dinners or cut up their clothes. It might be 6 on 1, but she wasn’t down

and out yet...
