After Lucy had made that comment to Darla, part of her could almost sense that something was different. Immediately after she’d said it, Darla had squinted her eyes a little and smiled at her; smiling being something Lucy had yet to ever see the serious girl do even a single time. There was something unnerving about her smile. She didn’t say anything in reply, she just walked away.

As the following days seemed to drag on Lucy continued her hard working, but she seemed to sense... eyes on her. There was a strange sense that she got of feeling watched while she was working that she hadn’t at all felt before talking to Darla. She still worked as hard as she could while trying to ignore the feeling, but it wasn’t easy.

Three days after she’d talked with Darla, Lucy was working late again. She’d had a double shift and was just ready to go home and get some sleep. She finished up the last of some paperwork before suddenly:

*Knock, Knock, Knock!*

There was a knock on the office door. Lucy was a little surprised because nurse’s and doctor’s very rarely bothered each other while they were doing paperwork. She opened the door and found... no one. She looked left. Nope. She looked right. Nope.

No one appeared to be around this hallway.

“That’s strange.” Lucy muttered aloud as she turned back to her papers. She was about to shut the door when suddenly a cloth moved over her mouth! She screamed but her sound was completely muffled by the cloth. The hand was encased in a red glove so she couldn’t tell at all whose hand it was; not that it mattered much at the moment.

Lucy tried several times to struggle and shove and scream; but nothing worked. It wasn’t long at all before her vision of the office she was standing in to start to grow fuzzy and eventually fade to black completely; the only thing she could hear was a woman’s voice chuckling and saying, “Nighty night...”

She had no idea how long she was unconscious for. It could have been days it could have been an hour, she wasn’t sure. When Lucy finally came to she felt fuzzy and weak. Her head was throbbing a little bit, and her vision was slowly but surely returning to her. She eventually forced herself to lean up and discovered many things at once.

Firstly, she knew she was still in the hospital, given the architecture, but she was surely in a room that she’d never seen before. The room was filled with lots of random items from what she could see, mostly objects she’d seen in the baby stations of the hospital. Diapers, baby powder, baby wipes, and everything and anything someone might need. The most worrisome thing though was the enema bag against the back wall. As Lucy stared at the bag and faucet connected to it, she could feel her stomach growl and groan and prayed that she was just imagining it.

As she tried to lean up more she could feel how weak her body felt. It was as if were trying to move through Jell-O in a dream. Her muscles all felt so weak and it took a strenuous amount of effort to even get her body to sit up. She found herself stopped from even doing that though as she discovered her wrists were tied up in restraints! Tied down to the examination chair she now was laying in.

She wiggled and whined for several minutes, trying to escape. She tried biting on her wrist restraints which did no good and tried wiggling and shaking. It was really difficult with how weak she felt. It took a lot of effort just to hold her head up, much less the rest of her body. Her stomach groaned and growled, growing painful as she lay there, making her extremely concerned that the bag in the corner might be empty already after all...

Finally, she gave up and knew that she wouldn’t be able to get out of here without some assistance from someone else, or until whatever was making her so weak wore off.

“H-hello??” She called out. Her voice pretty hoarse and dry. No answer. “Hello?!” She called out, this time louder. “Somebody?? Hello! Please, help me...” She called out, her voice more of a whine than anything else.

The last thing she could even remember was the cloth that swept over her mouth while she’d been working and knocked her out. Where had that person taken her? How had no one else seen? Any why?!

“Oh, you’re awake.” Lucy heard a familiar voice say. She struggled to lift her head until her eyes widened, suddenly locking with the eyes of none other than Darla!

“Hello little girl.” The woman said with another one of her intense smirks.
