Easter Chocolate (Part 1) (Patreon)

Amanda loved being a babysitter. She’d been doing it ever since she’d gotten her first job at age 13 and even as a 20 year old trying to make money to work her way through college, she still loved doing it just as much. Most of the jobs she took was nothing too special and memorable. She had several different clients that she worked with very regularly, but none of them stuck out to her for the most part. It was usually only the really good or really bad clients that she ever remembered. Either that, or ones that were quirky in some way or another. One client in particular she definitely stood out because of a certain quirk. It wasn’t anything bad necessarily, but certainly memorable.
Mrs. Branigan was a nice enough woman who was a working Mother while her husband traveled for his own work a lot. Even though she was able to work from home most of the time, having someone to assist her in taking care of her young daughter Olivia was greatly appreciated. Olivia was still potty training, so having a babysitter around to keep an eye on things helped out a lot. The thing that Amanda found rather odd about the woman was the way she sometimes treated her.
When she’d first met Mrs. Branigan and her husband, the older woman (Probably in her mid 40’s or so.) could not stop gushing about how cute Amanda was. Her husband, Mr. Branigan, just smiled a little and shook his head as if this was a regular occurrence, which of course made Amanda assume it was. Blushing a little, Amanda just thanked the woman, playing shyly with her hair as they’d began the interview.
Since then, the woman’s comments on Amanda’s apparent adorableness had never ceased. She often asked about Amanda’s love life or if she’d ever been a model before. Once in a while she even did little physical things like give Amanda small pats on the head or pinch her cheek like an overexcited Grandmother might do.
It was all rather quirky and odd to say the least, but Amanda was a happy and sweet girl and she never let it bother her. She would usually just smile and thank the woman and move on. Mrs. Branigan never pushed it.
Soon enough, Easter was coming up in the Branigan household and knowing that most of her clients would like to spend Easter with just their families, Amanda was a little short on work. Lucky for her, Mr. Branigan unfortunately was traveling during the holiday this year, so Mrs. Branigan invited the young babysitter to spend some of the festivities with them. She had Easter breakfast with them, got dressed up all nice and fancy in a beautiful dress and went to church with them, and even got to go to the mall and watch as Olivia went to sit on the Easter Bunny’s lap. (Though thanks to Mrs. Branigan’s enthusiastic encouragement as well as a hearty pat on the bum to get her moving, Amanda found herself sitting on the Easter Bunny’s lap as well for a few of the photos.)
When the finally got back home Amanda was admittedly excited to change into some comfier clothes, but also to watch Olivia participate in the little Easter egg hunt her Mother had put together. She swapped the fancy church dress she was wearing for some cozy socks, a flowy skirt, and a festive little pink and white shirt with a cute bunny on the front.
“Well don’t you just look precious.” Mrs. Branigan commented as Amanda left the bathroom in her cute new outfit.
“Thanks! Hehe.” Amanda giggled out, rather happy at the comment because she thought she looked cute too.
The woman smiled at her, though Amanda didn’t realize just how much she seemed to be studying her. “Ya know Mandy,” Amanda cringed a tiny bit at the name, it being the same cutsie nickname people had used much more often for her when she’d been little. “I just got the most adorable idea. What if you participated in the egg hunt with Olivia? Oh I just know she would love that!”
Amanda couldn’t say she was all that surprised, after all she had kinda made her sit on the Easter Bunny’s lap, despite being a fully grown woman. “Uh heh, sure! That sounds cute. I’m in.” Truthfully, she didn’t really mind all that much, she loved playing with Olivia and knew the girl would enjoy the company, but also she’d loved Easter Egg hunts as a child and it had been a long time since she’d done one.
“Great!” The woman cried out, looking ecstatic. “I have a little surprise then.” She hurried over to a little cubby and pulled out a couple of items (One of them rather crinkly.) and held them up to the shocked Amanda. “I’ve got the perfect things so you Olivia could be matching!”
