Chapter 9 = Lexi’s Freedom: After I waited for a while Alice came back out from the bathroom all dressed up herself. It took her a lot less time to do it on herself than to do it on another person. She was wearing a nice top that was conservative but it was still tight and sexy. To go with that she was wearing skintight black leather pants. That, along with her choice of high heels, makeup, and hair made her look beyond beautiful. She explained to me her plan was to take me to one of the local bars so I could experience being a woman for the night.
“Are you sure?” I asked Alice. “I mean, this is the first time I’ve ever gotten fully dressed up like this. I don’t know if I’m ready to go out like this.”
“Don’t worry so much sweetie,” Alice assured me. “First of all, you look amazing, honest. Anyone looking at you will have no idea that you were born a boy. Second of all, we are going to a place that will be loud, dark, and crowded. No one will think twice about seeing you walking around.”
I pushed down my nerves and smiled. “Okay, I think I can do it then.” Alice smirked at me.
“Good girl.” As she said it, I could feel my heart flutter. “Now get your big girl pants ready and let’s get going!” Alice turned to leave but then she paused as she realized the irony of what she’d said. “Huh...” She was grinning as she looked back at me one more time. “I guess that’s the one thing you aren’t really wearing right now.” She chuckled as she reached around and squeezed my butt through the sparkly pink dress. My protective undergarment crinkled loudly underneath me. “No one will hear your crinkly butt at all in the bar either.”
We made sure that we had everything we needed for the night and finally left the cosmetology department. It was much later in the evening now and night had fallen. Luckily it wasn’t cold out. As we walked something strange happened. We were on our way to the bar, walking along the sidewalk, and a car with pounding music drove by us. Immediately I was taken aback by the shouts of at least 3 different guys as they drove by. They were laughing and yelling and cooing.
“Did... did we just get catcalled?” I asked. Alice rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, it happens. Especially when you’re wearing something like that. It gets pretty annoying to be honest. Don’t worry, we’re almost there.”

In the bar, I was surprised as most of my feelings of nervousness went away. Alice had been right! Besides an awkward moment of having to show my license to the bartender and being forced to explain myself, no one recognized me as a guy at all. In fact, there were several moments where I realized that different guys were actually hitting on me.
“Hey baby,” I heard guy #8 say to me. For the moment I was standing at the bar by myself while Alice was off on the dance floor. “That’s a nice little ass you got there. How about we go back to my place and I’ll really show you a good time?” I let out a little gasped choke as the man placed his hand firmly on my butt. I could feel my pull-up crinkle through my dress. Before I could even begin to tell him that I wasn’t even interested in guys, much less tell him off for being an asshole, someone else took over. I didn’t realize that I had a guardian angel.
“Hey!” A familiar voice yelled out. “Get your hands off of her!” The other person smacked the man’s hand away from my backside and practically pushed him away. “God, some guys can be such douchebags. You okay?”
My eyes focused again after breaking out of my stunned head and I looked at the girl in front of me. She was dressed in a blue dress that was cute but a decent amount more formal than my own. I looked into the orangish tinted brown eyes of Lauren.
My breath got caught in my throat as I stared at her for a moment. She was even more beautiful now than she had been the last time I saw her. My face flushed a little as I recalled how awkwardly our last encounter ended up.
“You okay?” Lauren repeated, a little concerned. I could only manage a small smile and a nod. “Well that’s good.” She said. “Girls gotta stick together ya know.” She teased me as she elbowed me softly. If only she knew...

Lauren and I found a place to sit down to be away from the large crowd. It was still pretty loud though, which was good. It gave me an excuse to not have to talk too much. I had practiced my “girl voice” before, but I wasn’t super confident in it. I smiled at her and mostly listened to her talk, which was fine with me.
I caught Alice’s eye in the crowd and she saw me sitting with her. She was a little shocked but she winked at me and gave me a double thumbs up.
“I’ve never seen you around here before, do you go to school here?” I smile and nodded. I was doing what I could to avoid speaking. We kept chatting for a long while until something else happened.
“Do you have any lipstick I could borrow? I forgot to wear some.” I nodded and was fishing around in the purse that Alice had let me borrow... when it happened. Some person from behind tried to scootch by me and hit me in the back. I let out a gasp as my purse and the contents in it went flying. Lauren and I went onto my hands and knees and started collecting the items until we both froze at the sight of one of the things on the floor.
A single butterfly pull-up lay on the ground in between us. Lauren’s jaw was ajar as she stared down at it. The small little garment crinkled as she picked it up. She stared at it as if she was trying to figure out what it was. Her head tilted as she stared up at me her eyes wide. She studied me before her eyes had a flash of recognition.
“Michael?”
