These commissions are to make sure the Kickstarter commissions are properly rendered. Like we'll make some changes to Catcher, we're going to make Logan a big bigger in the shoulders!

Otherwise, he looks pretty good to me!!

Thats my problem with (beginner level) anime - 90% characters look like siblings. I also imagined Grant being much "Hulkier". Pointy chin is not part of it.

Actually Grant's face is very much in line with my visualization of him here. You are free to your own interpretation, but I would not recommend assuming it is everyones. Grant being large doesn't mean he needs to have a broad face. -Bryce

I dont assume everybody has to agree with me - why did you think so? If you hadnt said its Grant, he could have been just about anyone. Not much have been said about his body, besides him being tall and having jet black hair and black eyes. None of this is emphasised on picture. If he had been drawn from different angle (viewer looking up) then maybe, but from this angle i would have guessed him to be below average height. Also, him being most strength based type - mauler - created in my head idea that he was bulky. Nothing in this picture hints that he is bulky. And i guess my dissatisfaction with face comes from stereotyping - bulky people usually dont have narrow faces. So based on the info given and filling blanks with my own imagination, i had quite different idea than you (what happened to jet black hair though?). I can live with that but i dont think i am only one who fills blanks differently than you. Give us more info then.

We stated in the post we would be making changes to his physique. The whole point of these commissions was to make sure we knew what to change for the Kickstarter drawings.

I still love the style of the drawings, but right now Grant looks an awful lot like Catcher. Looking forward to seeing the adapted version you mentioned. Thanks for the art!

I think the distain in his eyes is spot on what I imagined, though not the rest of him… I usually avoid all art works of characters in books I’m reading as I’ve found everyone has completely ideas on on what characters look like… usually taken from their own life experiences with people… but other than that I think all the art work is good. Just not what I imagined :)

He does look like Catcher. Logan is bigger like body builder type this looks more swimmers body type.

I don't know why, but in my head Grant looked like Superboy from the 2010 Young Justice, but with the red in his eyes. I'm really looking forward to more Art in the future.

I honestly imagined him a bit different. More wild-haired barbarian lol. But this drawing pulls off his personality perfectly. Its not smugness. That’s the look you give someone whose stupidity and incompetence is dragging your team down, and that’s Grant in a nutshell. Perfect.

My vision obviously isn't canon! Let me say that straight up! I totally pictured him much thicker - thick necked, a bit wild haired and not necessarily a pretty dude but not ugly - definitely athletic. I also always imagine him with kind-of a snarl on his face and darker/haunted eyes.

I thought Logan Grant had black hair, and he is mega muscled. If Viv is truly interested in spite of his earlier idiotic attitude, the man is a hunk.
